QuoteFirst off, I really don’t want to offend anybody. I respect all races and ethnicities. I am also very proud of my Caucasian heritage and all that my forefathers have accomplished. With that being said, is there any Tattoo symbol that symbolizes these feeling of pride without being perceived as racist or derogatory? I want to walk around with my shirt off at the DZ and at the beach without fear of reprisal.*** You may not mean offense, yet due to racial inequity which has been hugely advantagious to those of us fortunate enough to be born white, it could be seen as being in poor taste. Furthermore many closet racists will spout white pride under the guise of simply being "proud of their heritage" while really advocating a more sinister ideology, and you could easily be confused for one of them. Might want to play it safe and get a national flag tattoo or something. Agreed. I don't know the right answer for what the courts should do with him, but killing an 11 year old is way too much. Richards My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

If you are merely proud of the history of your forefathers and use it as motivation to continue a proud tradition, then that is fine. I do find it irritationg when I hear people who were not alive during the second world war saying "we saved your asses" or "we won the war". Agreed. But the kindling that starts that pride should come from events beyond your control. The onus is then on you to contribute and earn the right to that pride. Again it is fine so long as you use it as motivation to continue a proud tradition rather than taking a free ride on history, and without developing nationalistic arrogance. skydivings impact on your relationship
Richards replied to fpritchett64's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
My wife is terrified with the idea of me jumping. Since we married I have taken some time away from the sport due to the stress it causes her when I jump. Don't get me wrong, I am not one who subscribes to the old "You have a better chance of....than dying skydiving" propaganda....I realize that it is a risky sport but I feel that she has an overly inflated perspective on the risk particularly since I am a very safety conscious jumper. That said she is not a controlling person and will let me go if I really want to but it really upsets her so I am on a temporary hiatus until I can change her perspective. Wish me luck. Richards. I really truly feel bad for the little guy. If I had been there I would have let him get away with it. That sort of audacity and ingenuity deserves to be rewarded. Truly a shame. They're always like that (Ok almost always). They are stereotypical nail filers, who never know anything except the details of their collective agreement (which they know to the letter). Do not use e-mail or phone. Go in person so they have a harder time giving you the "I'm too busy" routine. Look at this poor fucking mouse. He was a genius who had it all figured out. He was a master criminal who could have kept this scam going indefinitely if his dumbass "freind" hadn't interfered. http://www.break.com/index/mousetrap.html Sorry if this has already been posted. Treadwell was a fucktard. Too bad his girlfriend was naive enough to believe the nonsense he spouted and the cost was her life. Fine to say that his intentions were honourable, but one does not have to be stupid to promote conservation. What is the big deal with entrapment. It's not as though the cops are pointing a gun at the guys head and forcing him to do it. The bait is there, he knows it is wrong, yet does it anyway. An ethical person will not become entrapped because they will not be enticed to do something they know is wrong. Someone in a debate on TV was arguing that the New York Decoy squad was entrappment.... Like a good guy see's a smallish women (cop in disguise with backup around the corner) walking through a park late at night and arbitrarily chooses to attack her? No. The person being "Entrapped" was out looking for the very thing that was put in the trap and the streets were subsequently cleaned. I have always had issue with the entrappment argument. Mr Galloway is a very irritating man. From refusing to answer her questions directly, out-yelling her when she tried to speak, personall attacks on her...etc. He is the thorn in the side of anyone interested in an intelligent debate. He wins by default because the other person can't get a word in to make their point. His kind used to make my blood boil until I learned not to ever discuss politics with them. The question is why would you want to. Our workers are so heavily unionized that you would invariably end up with a slave union (International Brotherhood of Slave Labourers) who would lobby for a slave/owner colective agreement (medical, dental...etc) that would mitigate any gains brought on by owning slaves What does she look like? She is obliged to repeatedly scream "I am unclean, I am unclean" as you approach her Fuck em...Smite em If he works on the sabbath call the police to immediately come and kill him. When they have done that you must kill them for working on the sabbath. See two birds with one stone Shellfish eaters, sodomites, people who drive slow in the passing lane...etc. They will all burn! Laser surgery! It is the only way to save your soul. Hurry....the end can come when you least expect it and then it is too late. You should kill them slowly. If it happens to be on the sabbath please follow prior advice for sinners on the sabbath Better check with someone else on that. I don't know everything He must be killed. To entrap other sinners just put out the call for stoners to throw the stones on the sabbath and then kill them for working on the sabbath. Nah....just winging it. US solders rape 14 year old Irakian and kill her and her family

You are morally opposed to the idea of these guys being killed for what they have been accused of but are OK with them being tortured eternally? Richards My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. -
No. I know this sounds silly but despite the fact that I know all equipment is safety checked I would not feel comfortable merely being hooked to someone who has a parachute. I need the rig actually strapped on to me. I know...completely irrational . I do not recall ever seeing this. I usually find that when it happens most people I have heard from the muslim community immediately go on the defensive and start preaching about how western and israely "imperialism" has forced this course of action. Upon making this excuse they then start complaining that they are all being tarred with the same brush while simultaneously offering implicit support for the muslims who have committed the act. I am no expert, but with modern DNA can we not reduce the likelyhood of a false conviction to almost zero? I would only advocate this if it was absolutely proven beyond a doubt (ie the guy made videos of the act). Not sure if I can support the DP in all cases but I do agree that it should apply to those who victimise children. I do think that there should be some basis for appeals just in case we get the wrong guy, but tying the system up for 20 years is a bit much. I have often contemplated having a disclaimer put into my will requesting that my family refrain from legal action if I should die skydiving (don't know if thats actually possible). I did not want the DZ owner or the staff who were all great people to be harranged by a lawyer on behalf of my family. If my hiatus from the sport turns ut to be a temporary one and I go back I may just do that (any lawyers please let me know if something like that could be binding?) On that note one thing I have never understood. Your bank card has a secret PIN code that ensures that if I steal it I cannot access your $200 in savings (without knowing your code), yet your Visa card has no such code preventing me from running up your credit card balance by $10,000 if I steal that. WTF? Richards My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.
