    The chops are good on you, but I have never been able to grow much facial hair EXCEPT the goatee. I always thought when I grew up I'd grow more hair. I'm 51 now, so I've given up waiting on the 'burns to grow in. steveOrino

    That's what physics and engineering courses are for. You GOT to be kidding me! I graduated my Masters with a 3.75, but I bet I couldn't squeak out one A in either physics or engineering. It makes my brain hurt just thinking that "logically". steveOrino

    Back in the 70s & 80s I had a big mustache (looks so gay now). In the 90s I grew a goatee. My wife loves it, but I thought it look dated (90s thing) I shaved off the 'stache and have just a chin beard. Some of my peers (who still have goatees) say I look Amish. Actually, I think I'd like to shave it all off except the triangle goat-head under my bottem lip. Sortof like Apollo Ono (speed skater) What is in? Should I care? Why shouldn't I care (I mean I don't wear leisure suits ... anymore) EDITED: Sorry, I thought I was in Bonfire; Mods, please move. steveOrino

    Good! So many atheists/agnostics have a big chip on their shoulder to get everyone to believe as they do. They feel so superior. Sort of like some Christian fundies I know. It just goes to show fundamentalist come in all shapes and sizes, Christians ... Muslims ... Atheists. IMHO -- they are a pain, but hey, so am I at times. steveOrino

    Nostril hair is easy to see and trim. Ear hair is harder for me to see and threby harder to maintain. Usually when I shave I don't see anything, then if I put on my reading glasses ... forest! Give me easy to see and trim nostril hairs over catepillars on my ears any day! steveOrino

    My middle son, Drew, was always the little guy. We thought he'd take after my father-in-law who was a slightly built 5'7" man. Somewhere around his senior year Drew sprung up to 6'1". Now he is 23 years old and is in Special Forces. In my eyes, he is a stud! steveOrino

    While I believe in Karma (Christian terminology -- you reap what you sow) I don't believe in reincarnation, just as many do not believe in Christ as Son of God.. I have no issue with those who do believe in reincarnation, I just can't grasp it intellectually or spiritually. steveOrino

    Urban myths are rampant in USA. The advent of the internet makes them even more prolific. I assume you are responding tongue in cheek, but I am continually amazed at how many people believe something simply because they read it in an email that has been circulating the globe. Send this in an email for me. God will send you $1000 if you send Steveorino $100. Too late Robert Tilton has beat me to it. BTW, I said it was a pithy statement even if the circumstances were false.

    Sometimes, repetitive habits (nail biting, hair twisting) are brought on from early childhood issues. Dealing with those old issues may help some people break repetitive habits. steveOrino

    I can't see the video because my work blocks streaming video (no more skydiving movies) but if I had a nickel for every wanna be SF, Ranger, SEAL, I'd be rich!. Someone told me that another Green Beret worked at our school. I went over to him and coin checked him. He stared at it for a long time ... silence. I said, "I hear you were in SF too" "Yeah, Special Forces" "Which Group? I was in 5th" "Uh, Fort Bragg" "Yeah, okay, but which group? 5th 7th? (back in my day those two groups were at Bragg -- now 5th is at Campbell and 3rd was reactivated) Finally he confessed he was with some signal batallion attached to SF for some field exercise.
