The only issue is that you get perceived light, but the number of LED's necessary to produce the same lumens footcandles in say...a parking garage 250W metal halide lamp require a pretty big and expensive fixture. We've been using LED's for years in exit signs and small "night lights" for stairs and hospitals. They have been working on perfecting the white LED for a long time. and they still aren't 100% time proven. CRI stands for Color Rendering Index and is measured on a scale with sunlight, and incandescents being the top of the scale. Fluorescents can take you into the 80's on the scale, with some incandescents being right at 100. That's why incans are used in retail to highlight clothing. The higher the CRI, the better color rendering ability of the lamp. A .25 screw in bulb will give you better color rendering than any fluorescent, all day long. Edited to add: You are right to be excited. Problems aside, the energy savings are awesome. We're currently retrofitting neon to LED all over the country. If you ever get to Orlando, go by Supervision. Brett Kingstone owns the plant and his R&D and accomplishments are amazing. He also produces fiber optics for the home.

I've spent the past few months watching the various posts and replies on this form. Realizing that we are a very small group of people, I still submit that we can probably say that the opinions expressed are a good indicator of our Country as a whole. A Country divided... Religion, Politics, Liberals, Democrats, Republicans, Left, and Right... Divide and Conquer... What I see is a pretty substantial community divided to extremes on issues that inevitably have a common ground. As long as we take sides, intellectual pot shots, and retaliate with our intellect in general, our Country will remain in turmoil. When negotiating, as soon as you place the other side on defense, the negotiating is over. Both sides must walk away feeling as if they too won. I believe that we have been led to many of our differences by design. Power and money hungry leaders who know the art of war, and the way to remain in power while pitting the general population against itself. I voted for Bush because I believe that he was the lesser of two evils. I'm tired of playing Russian Roulette with our future. Can we come to a common ground and unite as a Unified American Party, or is it too late? Can we turn our intellect towards a workable common goal, and save our Country? It will take someone a lot more intelligent than I to answer this question.

I have spent my life excelling at everything that I do. School, military, business, drinking...you name it. Enter skydiving: I'm just tipping 100 jumps and I haven't even begun to know shit. One of the greatest feelings of accomplishment I've had (next to landing without dieing) is being able to exit the plane and stay steady, and in control on the hill. I learned very quickly that this is a truly humbling sport. There aren't many who advance early to the top of the class, and some never do. There are people who started after me, that are better than I am, and people with several hundred jumps that still land like an out of control torpedo. I had a guy who has hundreds of jumps tell me the other day that his PLF is Feet- ASS- Head, and not necessarily in that order. For me, skydiving isn't something to be conquered in a day. It's going to be many years of learning, in small steps. I'm fortunate enough to be at a DZ where everyone is willing to help, and no one has ever belittled me for my mistakes. Paul M. told me last Saturday night that if anyone ever tells you that they haven't screwed up, then they are either A.) lieing, or B.) never really skydived before. Listen to your instructors, jump often, and drill until everything you're taught is second nature. Your fears will lessen. I third this motion! I trained both my Ridgebacks with the crate. I kept it in the bedroom right by my bed at night. Between both puppies, I've cleaned up one pile while training them, and a hand full of pees.. Take them out on a schedule, and stay with them until they go. It can be very frustrating at times. Take them out after you feed them in the morning, and after you feed them at night. Wait after they pee, and they will do the rest. I was fortunate enough to be able to let them on the porch during the day, until they were old enough to go out into the pasture. I'd put the crates on the porch before I left for work.

It is still "normal" to feel sexual attraction for a fully developed female, it is just not allowed by society to act upon this impulse any more. You cannot regulate biology. Ciao. I have met a lot of younger kids who are mature and understand what sex is about better than some older people and if you have 2 people who are willing it will happen. If I was 15 I would have no problem having sex with a 30 yr old and if I was 30 I would have no problem having sex with a 15 yr old. __________________________________________________ Uh, is 15 the lowest you'll go? In my opinion... Men that I know were more conditioned at an earlier age to believe that sex is a rite of passage to becoming a man. Our fathers were a bit more open with us, as opposed to their daughters. The thought of a 14 year old daughter having sex would send many for the gun, or ax. Whatever was closest at hand. The thought of a 14 year old son having sex was almost a source of pride. In today's world ( as opposed to the prairie days), I believe that adults who have sex with the underaged, should be shot. I don't care the argument, you have to be psychologically warped to take advantage of our youth. Sex is a powerful thing. I don't think anyone will argue with this. Your goals in life change drastically when the discovery is made. I forgot about school, sports, parents, and everything when I discovered sex, and my priorities in life became decidedly different (sort of like skydiving). Our kids will discover sex soon enough without some "expert" helping them along. Growing up in stages is necessary to becoming a sound minded adult. Both boys, and girls.
