Im more reliant on the nicotine. When I was younger I use to punch things when I got really mad [I have a very sizable temper]. I went thru enough walls to learn not to hit them, so instead of doing the smart thing and quit hitting things, I just moved to more solid objects [e.g. steel columns, thick wooden doors, etc...]. Now with cigerettes giving me nicotine to slow my heart rate I can calm down faster and prevent any violence or anything else from erupting due to my bad temper... I guess that is what keeps me doing it. I use to be very against it. Then one day I was really stressed out to the point of breaking. So my friend offered me one. I figured "why not? not like anything else could possibly go wrong". I went thru the usual coughing and everything, but got use to it. I quit for Basic and AIT, and due to certain NCO's I had to deal with, picked it back up. I don't plan on doing it forever. Just currently it seems that though it slowly shortens my life span, it significantly increases others... If the proper information is posted, then those of us who pay attention to the mistakes of others can know not to do it if they are in a simlar situation... That is all ANY vaccine is. I normally never get sick. Then they told us we had to have the shot. So I went to the TMC and got the stupid shot. Sure enough, I got sick from it. From what I have seen, its usually because they go out and look for something better after the relationship is over, and when the guys they find dont meet expectations, they turn back to the tried and true. Usually it is more out of desperation than anything else thou. That I know of, Kabul doesnt drop any ball or anything. And Americans cant set off fireworks, cuz I am sure someone will mistaken it for an attack... so I did the next best thing I could do to bring in the New Year... sleep. I have gone out in it... with my profession, I have seen all types of weather conditions, and facilities are either none-existent, or something you dont want to untilize. Just face away from the wind, and pray you finish quick... the warmth of your pants never felt so good! With our dogs back home, we have one of those water cooler type. Fill it in from the top and it funnels down to a bowl that all 4 can eat from [We also have the matching water bowl of similar fashion to go with it]. They choose when they want to and how much they eat. They have gotten use to it, and as said before, it eliminates the dinner table problem a lot of dog owners have to deal with. The thing with having different species of pets is that you usually have to have them together from a young age. If you try to mix them up after they have become accustomed to them not being there, then that is where the problem usually comes from. I am no expert or vet, but this is just what I have noticed. As for Huskies, they are beautiful. I also love the wolf look and would like to own one some day. But I am currently hooked on Labs. They are some of the smartest and gentlest dogs of their size you will ever find. Plus, they are easy to train. My dog [Digger - 1/2 Pure Black Lab; 1/4 Rhodesian Ridge-back; 1/4 German Shepard] I didn't teach a single thing to. She just picked it up as she went. Truly amazing to watch. And one thing that is nice about them is they love to run, but are just as content just taking a nap somewhere. Great with kids and don't mind if you pull at them. "Silhouette" [Pure Black Lab] use to hide under tables when she knew she did something wrong, and the only way we could get her out was to pull her by her tail. She would slide out and just look at us like "Oh, you found me!" Hilarious to see. Good luck with your Husky hunt! I think once an animal has attacked, it is automaticly put down. I know I had a friend who had "Beware of Dog" signs posted all over their property, and some idiot walked up their yard, to the fence and tried to pet it. Of course the guy got bit, and animal control came and put the dog down. It was a good dog, who just didnt like strangers when its family wasnt around...
