    It is official, the first load over Monroe has HAPPENED!! Everybody is back on the ground safe and the plane is hangared as weather is moving in again. Just goes to show, you can't jump if your not here. It's only one, but it's a start!!

    So in flight the smoke is coming up perpendicular to your direction of flight, but if the long side of L bracket had a 45+ degree angle back the smoke would come off the bottom of your foot and thus be more parallel to and with the direction of flight. Seems like that would keep the smoke from getting up in the WS burble as much? I don't have a way to draw that. Just thinking... I think it looks awesome, very simple and a great idea.

    It's not a good idea, for me, because my photos, taken with equipment that I pay for, are worth far more than the price of a slot! Are you only shooting for the price of the slot? Or do you make an additional fee on top of the cost of the slot? That does bring up a question/observation, if doing WFH, should the DZ provide things like the tapes and/or memory cards in return for expecting rights to the media created? Just asking, don't really have an opinion one way or the other at the moment as it does not apply to me, but I am starting to think about things like this.

    I'm 5' 8" and 195 myself. It's a journey learning to fly with the other guys. I had some good jumps and some not so good jumps in PR this year, but I saw improvement every jump! I've fallen out of many, many flocks and watched them fly away, but I learn something on every jump. I also get comments from others who fly with me that when I'm on, I'm FAST! That said I want to lose another 15-20 lb just to make my WS stuff better.
