    Even though its far away. We've got a few places to hide tourists here, so coming to Holland a week early, doing some pre-jumping in Belgium, and then driving to Germany with us (there's a whole bunch of Dutch guys in cars heading to Cochstedt) then just drop us a line.     Just put a camera-bracket on your bellymount, which has the option of mounting the camera in both orientations. So not a normal L bracket, but a U bracket Quite a few freeflyers have these for upside-down mounting. The bracket has two holes. the top one screws onto your belly-mount, bottom hole screws onto your camera JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    A small problem with that is that someone flying relative to another, is always looking at the other person. And thus has to be able to fly slighly better (if the person he is following is maxing out). As that usualy has you a bit headhigh...to see where you are going, and where the person you are following is going...so you have to be able to stay up with another wingsuiter maxing out, while flying a sub-optimal body-position...(or use 'the force' to guide you) Putting people (or even 1 person...flying a V2/S6/Mach1) out with a GPS and getting hard numbers on glideratios/forward speed/fallrates is probably most trustworthy (in terms of actualy being able to compare...)     Even the highest quality sample (VGA 640x480 - Superfine) has smudgy colours in a pretty much static shot. Its definately not bad quality, but the 4km 240V extention-cord you'd need would definately make it a hassle to take it along on a skydive JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    It records to MPG4, a format most applications (Final Cut/Premiere etc) support. The downside is that you're already starting with (probably heavily) compressed source material.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    If its filesize issues, you may need to recompress the video. Don't shorten it...(unless its a 5,5 hour epic) But anything up to 30 to 40 minutes should be compress-able into something that looks good, and still doesnt upset to many people in terms of filesize JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    We have a small wingsuit gathering at Skydive Zeeland this weekend. Big pirate paaarrrrrrrrrty, and cheep (CHEEP!) drinks saterday evening. 2 days of jumping the Caravan. Costyn, Tristan, Aeneas, Johan, Hans (Gadget), Hans (The white knight), Alex, Karin and myself will be there. 4 eager jumpers coming in for a FJC...its going to be a great weekend!     We've been planning to do that at the dropzone in Rotterdam (as you can fly over parts of town there, as you can see here and here) because there is a contest atm in Holland (you have to make a video on how you use your GPS system) Im hoping we get to try it in two weeks or so. Would be funny to have the winds (and flightplan) change after takeoff, and just hear 'make u-turn if possible' in your ear the entire freefall Dont know if anyone has already tried it (my guess is yes...if people have been playing linked up gameboys in freefall..this one has definately already been done...probably by CRW folks or so) *edit* The GPS Im talking about would be a car gps, and flying over a populated area/roads JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
