Man, I've been 3 straight days without eating anything before. I would have eaten deep fried butt if I could have! I'll eat about anything anyway.
-
From what floor? I saw a few guys jump from the first floor windows. .......................OK, I'll shut up.

What is up with the 'mount us' pick (number 11)? Are you making an offer?

The pilot is supposed to wear a rig if the door is opened in flight and the pilot is not in a separate cabin from the area where the door is opened. -
ROFLMAO........never heard that one, but it's true!

TACP leading the way? Man, you must have been in 2nd Bat!

Yeah, we can do without the 100th jump video. Nude men skydiving is not attractive!

Last I heard the government decided to push auto manufacturers to produce a fuel cell powered car within the next few years. That is why the fuel efficiency bill did not pass. Instead of trying to eek that last little bit of efficiency out of an old and tired technology they decided to focus the resources and money on new technology. It would be nice to do both but it would also slow down the fuel cell technology drastically. IMHO it is a good plan as long as they follow through with it.

1:2:2 Got my new Wings container Friday! Woohoo! First jump on new gear Sunday. First formation jump (2 Cessna 182's) to a 7 way. Overall, a great weekend!

Just have to add that Sun Rise's customer service is outstanding. I received my rig a week earlier than expected and was kept informed of their progress the entire way. They bent over backwards to answer all of my questions and returned e-mails and phone calls promptly. The rig is extremely comfortable and looks great. The pin protection is outstanding. My rigger definitely liked the split free bag and was very impressed with the rig overall. I am extremely pleased with this rig. My next rig will be a Wings.

On my first delay (5 sec) I flipped on my back when I reached back to pull. I pulled anyway and tried to roll back over while throwing the pilot chute. I don't know if I successfully rolled back over or the chute opening rolled me over, but I was underneath a full canopy. Now that I can control myself in freefall I definitely would do it different next time. Just FYI.

and a .50 caliber commander's MG. Now those can disipate some energy! The 18 gallons of fuel to start up kind of sux though.
-
Hell, if you're in a tank ain't nothing on the road going to be transferring you any energy! They'll do all of the disipating.

I know the answer. Ejection seats for every passenger and bombay doors down the aisle. You even look like you're thinking of doing something violent and BOING!........see ya!

You know, Bob, Tom, Ben, and Jill. I make decisions all of the time...........just......noboy listens to me anymore.[sad]

Don't know for sure, but I think that was shot down in favor of pushing fuel cell technology.
-
My prayers are with you. I could not handle that.

Didn't need to know about the freckle thing going on.

No one is claiming that fuel cells will keep the US from ever needing oil again only that it will 'reduce our dependency on foreign oil'. The US produces oil from many sources within the Continental US and off shore. If fuel cells reduce our oil consumption enough then we could quit buying from foreign sources and use only domestic oil supplies if needed. Therefore, the assumption is that an engine that is 2-3 times more efficient than our current internal combustion engine will result in less need for foreign oil sources.
-
Well, you must be 'missing something'. The point is that they reduce our dependency on foreign oil and their main byproducts are heat and water so they are 'environmentally friendly'. In case you are interested: Yes, they do require energy to separate the hydrogen into usable form but the engine is actually two to three times more efficient.

Daschle for president huh. It's in his best interest right now for Bush to fail. Hard to figure out what everyone's motives really are.
