Not sure if it qualifies as 'extreme' but North West Arkansas has alot of white water rafting. I guess you could do it without a paddle and with a 20 lb weight vest to make it 'extreme'.

Maybe not, but they sure do write funny.

lol......I've been trying to convince my 5 year old that he wants a Playstation2 for about 6 months now. I've got to get him out of this Power Ranger phase first.

Yeah! and the Dukes of Hazzard of course.

LOL............my main objective in life is to grow my belly big enough to set my beer and pork rinds on while watching TV. It would be a great time saver.

I personally think that his/her skills as an instructor are more important than his expertise as a skydiver. Of course, he must have some experience and knowledge but his ability to teach and convey ideas to the students is more important. Some people are outstanding instructors at 100 jumps others suck at 5,000 jumps.

The ole Cypress of invulnerability huh? Congrats!

Damn, more acronyms please.

OK, found it on their website. I must have used an old application because I can't find it in there anywhere. Luckily, I meet that requirement. Whew! I've only been in the process for 14 months. It would suck to fall out now. They are hiring like crazy now. How far have you gotten in the process?

I don't know what the prices are on the Mirage site but you can probably do better than 10% off if you look around.

My cutaway handle is not loose at all on my Wings. It is the same as my old Vector II container. I would e-mail Heather from SunRise about the BOC pouch length. I read a post on here a few weeks ago where she was addressing this issue with Henry.

Kevin, I just finished phase II testing for that unspecified three letter organization. They haven't said anything to me about requiring a certain level of eyesight. Or you doing something 'special'?

I had a few military static line jumps before starting the sport static line progression. I asked if I could apply my military jumps toward getting my license and they laughed at me.

That is cool! I can't wait until we have full blown cyborgs. I want to hear that nanannaannaannana sound from the Six Million Dollar Man everytime I jump out of the plane. -
Nothing like a big plate of spicy crawfish and a six pack of some American crap lite beer! Pinching tails and sucking heads. I was born and raised in Louisiana and haven't had decent crawfish since I left over 10 years ago.

A hummus bit you? Did you go to the doctor?

This statement when it is aimed at a person on the forum is not conducive to a calm debate.

For someone that spouts some much liberal PC 'accept everyone for what they are' rhetoric I find your attacks on 'Bible Thumpers' to be fairly ironic. Let's stick to posting about the thread and not attacking people's beliefs. If you disagree with an opinion state yours and move on.

Yeah, other than that. But really, he was a great dad. He never molested or did anything but be a great dad to his own kids. He just had some 15 and 16 year old 'boys' on the side. It was sad really. His kids are still messed up due to the trauma they went through when they found out. Now, does his sexual preference preclude him from being a good dad? Not directly, but Indirectly his actions harmed them immensely. Where am I going with this, hell I don't know. But I do think there is more to this than just 'yes' they should be able to adopt and 'no' they shouldn't.

Well, since you used it on me I'm assuming you placed me in the homophobe category. Is this just because I think a stable family made of a male father and a female mother is preferable to homosexual parents? That is kind of a stretch and very un PC of you . I am not a homophobe. That attack has become kind of like calling someone a 'racist'. It is used to immediately place people on the defensive. I don't have anything against homosexuals and think they can make great parents. I had a best friend who's dad was a male child molester, but he was a great dad until they threw him in jail! So obviously your sexual preference doesn't necessarily mean you can or cannot be a good parent. (BTW....He never molested his own kids). Like I said earlier, I don't think gay couples should be outlawed from adopting but I also don't think it is the preferable environment to raise kids in.
