  1. ummmm, biologically she is not. She has BOOOBIES! Anyway, check out this link http://www.snopes2.com/movies/actors/jamie.htm
  2. Sure, as long as this http://www.thats-a-wrap.net/jlc/ is the Jamie Lee Curtis you are referring to.
  3. Please read my other posts. When I used the word 'normal' I was refering to non-gay parents. I was not trying to define anything else. I don't know anything about Jamie Lee Curtis other than she is HOT!
  4. ummmmmm.....well.....how about this definition. A normal father has a penis. And not post operative.
  5. I was just clarifying that the above statement is an opinion and not fact. Scientists have not been able to find conclusive evidence there is a difference biologically or psychologically between heterosexual and homosexual people. I haven't stated my opinion on this at all because, I don't know. As far as gay couples adopting. I think it is better for the kid to have a female mother and a male father rather than two of the same sex if all other things are equal. Can gay couples raise stable, confident children? I'm sure they can but I still think a normal father and mother is best. Do I think it should be illegal for gay couples to adopt? Probably not, but I think that married male, female couples should be given preference.
  6. OK, I chose to be heterosexual when I was sixteen and had my first sexual encounter with a woman. Does that help? I didn't say it did. I said that it was the reason she got a divorce from her husband.
  7. Well, then you are calling them all liars. It is fact that it has not been proven. Like I said, various scientists have varying opinions but there is no conclusive evidence that being gay is natural or that it is a choice. My sister dated men her entire life, married a man, was happy, got sad (due to his drinking), got a divorce (at 35), and is now a lesbian. Was she born that way? I don't know. No one else knows either.
  8. I don't understand your point. What makes you think I'm straight?
  9. This has yet to be proven. Alot of scientists have done studies on this and there is still no conclusive evidence one way or another. Tremendous amount of opinions though.

Not trying to be a smart ass but, what kind of jobs do Philosophy Majors get? Besides teaching Philosophy that is?
  13. They do this with everything, not just skydiving. That is why most people believe "the world is going to hell in a handbasket these days".
  14. Yeah, that sucked! What is up with this Beautiful Mind crap!
  15. Get the taxes done quick. With the tax cuts you will probably get a good bit back. I did!
  16. My old Battalion Commander in the Army was stationed at the Pentagon on 11 September. He was out running and saw the plane hit the Pentagon. I have talked to him about it personally. They also now have security video of the plane hitting the Pentagon (yeah I know they can be faked). Apparently it hit the ground before sliding into the Pentagon which accounts for some of the weirdness of the crash site. The plane actually did a 360 degree turn about 1,000 ft off the ground in order to line up better with the Pentagon. That is what caught the attention of my battalion commander. Seems to me this is just another Enquirer story to make some money on the public's love for conspiracies.
  17. What is the difference between 'wanton disregard' and 'active negligence' in legaleze?
  18. I wasn't disagreeing with you or commenting on your post, just stating my opinion. My opinion is that the verdict was correct in THIS SITUATION. All others must be decided on a case by case situation. We shouldn't make a law that blanketly says, "if any animal kills a person their owners will be charged with murder". You know, this reminds me of how the Nazis' used to handle thier pets. Doooooooh Is that the end of this thread?
  19. I think it was right because they knew the dogs were dangerous and didn't do anything about it. They were actively negligent with two very dangerous animals. Now if my sweet calm labrador retriever were to suddenly lash out and attack someone and kill them I don't think there is any negligence in that. I think it should still be pursued on a case by case basis. All animals have minds of their own and cannot be completely controlled by their owners at all times. Just my opinion. BTW....I don't actually own a dog.
  20. and remember, it's the bounce that kills so grab for the grass!
  21. 31, married for 10 years, two kids, and love it.
  22. Read this somewhere and it is very true. Depends on how long it's been for either (sex or skydiving).
  23. OK, got some of these down. I think I need work on 'write a sonnet', 'conn a ship', and 'die gallantly', but who the hell wants to write a sonnet. Was Heinlein gay?
