Using the same facts try wording it this way: RXService is being sued by the DOJ for assisting in the importation of unregulated prescription drugs to senior citizens. Since they are unregulated you can have this happen: I'm not arguing over who is right just that your "facts" were true but were slanted to the liberal side. Dude, are you trying to steal BillVon's award for most political threads with a liberal slant? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I moved out of my home state for college. I haven't returned and am currently 33. I've lived in seven states and one foreign country. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I served with an Army LT in the 1st Cavalry division from 1993-1995. He was hilarious. He was a very hard worker but not real bright.

What You Think You Know About Sept. 11 … but don't.

Me too! I also realize the world is not a simple place. Maybe Americans aren't as simple as he thinks. -
What You Think You Know About Sept. 11 … but don't.

No, I mean where is his evidence to prove this: Maybe a small point. His biggest point seems to be "I'm against the current US administration". "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -

I said nothing about sources. I said I wanted to see his proofs. I was referring to evidence not sources. I have lots of sources in my job. A lot of what they say is incorrect. Well intentioned but incorrect. I have to produce evidence to corroborate what they say. I expect the same from others. Especially someone making as large of accusations as this guy. I think if you would have read my post and not jumped to faulty conclusions we wouldn't be having this discussion. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -
If Gore was president, how would we have responded to 9/11
kmcguffee replied to Deuce's topic in The Bonfire
So why didn't they call if off after Clinton was elected? BTW, at least two of the 9/11 hijackers entered the country under Clinton's watch. It didn't just fire up after Bush was elected. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -

One "source" making an accusation is weak evidence at best. I can get any answer you want by using a "search engine". How about you try to post without being a complete SMARTASS!! Can you explain what logic I am using that is faulty? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -

What about the first World Trade Center bombing, Khobar towers, the African embassy bombings, the USS Cole attack, etc? Those all happened on Clinton's watch with Gore as VP. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -

I'd like to see this guys proofs. His statements seem to suffer from the same problem he attributes to the government's story..............a lack of evidence. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -

You can get Vitamin D from some plants. Getting enough vitamin D, for some people, from sunlight would expose them to a high risk of cancer. http://www.mercola.com/2002/feb/6/vegetarianism_myths_03.htm You can get all of the essential amino acids from a vegetarian diet but it takes a lot of planning. No single plant provides all eight essential amino acids. Most meats do. Iron deficiencies are a common problem with vegetarians. I used to see it a lot when being tested to give blood. Vegetarians will tell you there is no difference in iron deficiencies between vegetarians and meat eaters. I find that hard to believe when you read this from a vegetarian site: A vegetarian diet can be generally healthy. In order to ensure you get the proper amounts of vitamins and minerals it requires supplementation and/or a near obsessive/compulsive attention to everything that is eaten. I found this article interesting: http://www.berkeley.edu/news/media/releases/99legacy/6-14-1999a.html It comes from Berkeley so it has to be unbiased. Right? One quote is: Seems like the debate rages on. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Processed foods and an overconsumption of simple carbohydrates, fatty meats, and sugar (another simple carb) are the biggest health risks we are exposed to in the modern world. If you cut your meats to the low fat type and only a palm sized portion along with complex carbs and veggies you will feel and be a lot healthier. Add about six hours of exercise a week and you'll be amazed at how you look and feel. There are many low fat cuts of red meat. If you are exclusively vegetarian you will have a hard time getting enough iron. Most nutritionists recommend vegetarians take an iron supplement. The most complete protein is whey protein. Some people say soy is but I think that is still up for debate. Whey comes from cheese which some vegetarians refuse to eat. Vegetarian body builders (yes they do exist) take tons of supplements to get the right amount of complete proteins in their body. It is almost impossible to get all of the essential proteins through a strict vegetarian diet w/o supplements. The big indicator that we are naturally omnivorous is our canine teeth. Not many herbivores have them. Most peoples problems with meat is they tend to eat too much. But, not eating meat at all, IMO, is going to the extreme. Too much of anything is usually not good. Last time I looked, the census doesn't report voters. It only reports population. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Do you consider this fact? http://field.com/fieldpollonline/subscribers/COI-00-May-Latinos.pdf It says in 2000 Latinos were 16% of the vote. Very close to 15%. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

The problem is that you have not presented facts. You have presented opinions. You've also said that the US "trained" Hussein and then presented some vague story that he received brief training from the CIA. I assumed you meant military or terrorist training not espionage training (which is what you article was talking about). My bad, even though I seriously doubt your sources. Anyway, what does it matter. The US also trained Timothy McVeigh (US Army), Lee Harvey Oswald (US Marines), and Benedict Arnold (US Army). They all later turned out to be fairly anti-US. Like Michelle said, it was in our best interest at the time. The government doesn't have the advantage of 20/20 hindsight like you. Do you realize that Google is a search engine, not a source? Here is a big one. Listen carefully. Not everything on the internet is true. Yeah, I'm not lying. Some things on the internet are incorrect! Damn, just ruins your day doesn't it. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

32% of the population does not equal 32% of the vote. Historically minorities have an extremely low voter turnout. I'm sure California is the one exception though.

Still nothing in this book you posted about the United States training Hussein. There is no argument from me that we assisted him, supported Iraq against Iran, etc. But, you said the US trained Hussein. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Did you write this or is this a quote. I can find very few facts in it and a tremendous amount of theory. Just calling Bin Laden a CIA employee is laughable. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin
-
Exactly! Money is all you know about. But you said the US trained UBL and Hussein. No more questions. Still waiting for the original facts. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I don't know if I would quote a source with views like this. This statement is also making a big leap. The Taliban rose from a group of religious students in the refugee camps along the Pakistan/Afghani border after the war with the USSR. The Mujahadeen does not equal the Taliban. Maybe some of the same people but not the same group. The Mujahadeen also does not equal Al Quaida. Al Quaida was a splinter group from the Mujahadeen led by UBL. It is also a leap to say that we trained UBL IMO. We provided the mujahadeen money, weapons, and training on the weapons that we provided. Some conspiracy theorists claim that we brought some into the US and trained them but they provide no proof. Only theories. Now did UBL receive some of this training as a member of the mujahadeen? Maybe. I would like to see someone prove it. The source you quoted also said: We are. They did. His whole premise is invading Afghanistan would be too costly for the US because we would have to fight through Pakistan and then Afghanistan. Then this would start a world war between Islam and the West. Doesn't seem like he was very correct. The funding of the Mujahadeen against the USSR leading to their defeat in Afghanistan was one of the many reasons for the collapse of the USSR. Here is a nice quote to chew on: Something to think about. Now, we also have to deal with the statement that the US trained Hussein. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." I have to admit, smoking doesn't bother me. I don't smoke but if someone else wants to then do it. If it bothers me enough I'll ask you to stop or I will leave. Seems simple to me. I don't understand the big issue. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin
