Boy, that makes a whole hell of a lot of sense to me. Must be a West coast thing.

Well, is it "two beer" or "two beers"? Are you "about" to go or "fixin" to go? Are you "doing good" or "shittin in high cotton"?

Thank you Michelle. You beat me to it. I have to admit, I've never heard of the training bit. LMAO. Aaah, so elequently put. You have a way with words. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I didn't realize this. Where and in what field did the US government train UBL and Hussein? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

What is so bad about that? I obviously will never get BS on my own. Down a sixpack and voila! I'm sleeping with BS! Beer is good!

In addition, think of what would have happened to anyone in the US with the last name "Bin Laden" the months following 9/11. Would their death by gun toting rednecks, ie Aggie Dave, been a better outcome. Should we have "detained" them all based on their last name until they were found innocent? What would be your preferred perfect solution with 20/20 hindisght in this situation Bill? It was a lose lose situation for any administration. Michael Moore is just an idiot grasping for reasons to discredit the Bush administration. To sit around and criticize is the easiest path to take in governmental "participation". This doesn't add anything to his credibility. If he wants credibility, run for a public office. Then we'll see him try to fix some problems instead of running around screaming how corrupt everyone is that is actually trying to do something beneficial. The liberal stars don't seem to want to put their money where their mouth is. They are all bullshit and no horns. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I'm glad you were able to decipher my completely screwed up sentence.

The US military is doing this more and more lately. If you are interested, look into it at your nearest military post/base. Since the US military has gotten significantly smaller in the past decade, the military leadership realized that a smaller proportion of civilians had never served in the military and did not understand what the military did. The military decided to start a program where civilian leaders were invited to take part in different "exercises" to expose them to the military. I had to coordinate one of these when I was in. A lot of unexpected things happened. I couldn't believe that some of the civilian "leaders" couldn't even climb onto and off of a 2 1/2 ton truck because they were so out of shape and over weight. It almost turned into a crisis trying to unload them from trucks and into a few Blackhawks.

Sounds like the start of a Farley Brother's Movie. Maybe you could make some money off of this. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -
There is a gay part of Houston? Where are those bastards hidin?! "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

The guerillas in Iraq and Afghanistan are not trying to overthrow the existing US government. They are trying to make our occupation of their country too expensive for the American Public. They are attacking the "will" of the American people. There is a big difference in the objectives and the tactics required to win. In order to overthrow the existing government you would either have to completely defeat the US armed forces or have some type of mass mutiny to make them ineffective. Guerilla attacks within the country would be a war of attrition where you are expecting the government to finally say, "OK, we've had enough. We'll step down." That is not likely to happen. If I'm not wearing a jacket and I don't expect to go into a high risk environment I wear an ankle holster. If I don't have a jacket, am in a high risk environment, or am wearing shorts I either carry my Glock 27 in an in-the-pants-holster(IPH) or a fanny pack. I have an IPH that I can tuck my shirt in while wearing. I have to wear larger pants though. The fanny pack for a G27 is small and not obvious. For women, a purse with a concealed holster in it is an obvious and easy choice. Just practice with it. I've never fired a Glock 26 but I have no problem shooting the Glock 27. Based on some firefights with 9mms I've heard about, I wouldn't trust the knockdown power of the 9mm. The .40 caliber packs a good punch while still being very controllable. Lastly, let me say, I am not a gun nut. I carry because it is a small part of my job. If I didn't have this job I wouldn't carry. It is a pain in the ass and, without proper intense and regular training, can get you into a whole lot more trouble than it can get you out of. If you are going to carry be prepared to pay for high quality training and train regularly. I'm not talking just shooting either. I'm talking scenarios where you have to make "shoot" and "no shoot" decisions quickly, while stressed. Just MHO. Take it for what it is worth. I like the Glock 27. It is small and is a .40 caliber. Easy to conceal also. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I'm not for banning guns but this statement makes me laugh. Do you really think you could take your 12 gauge shotgun and 30-06 rifle and overthrow the government today? That was a good arguement when armies only used flintlocks and bayonets. The US Army has enough weapons in the modern era that civilians can't own that would enable it to crush any uprising fairly quickly. Guerilla warfare to force the cange of certain policies is still theoretically possible but not the outright overthrow of the current government by force. That's just silly. Using Neptunes with Night jumps.. please read if you have one.

LOL, damn Kev! You've been having a lot of "interesting" experiences with your new Neptune. Should we hold off a while before getting one? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -
Locked out straight not together. I never jumped with them together. Where did you get that? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I didn't swim but I had problems trying to run back to the plane after exit. I solved the problem by locking my legs out for the first few seconds after exiting. I exited from a Cessna 182 in the hanging position so it was not a problem for me. Depending on the type of exit you are doing this may or may not work. Your mileage may vary. Not valid in states where illegal. Must be 18 years old to play. May cause....................... "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Aaahhh, we already have it. In fact, I used it the other day to buy lunch. It worked well. Go ahead and use it. -
I don't doubt that. But, it is unbelievable that Houston was able to improve its air faster than Los Angeles under Bush's environmental laws. Don't you just find that amazing?! I know I do. Surely there must be some outside influence. Or maybe the comparison isn't valid. Begin your Google searches now! "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Calling these two guys, Rep. C.L. "Butch" Otter (R) and Sen. Larry E. Craig (R-Idaho), "GOP stalwarts" sure is a stretch. At the National level anyway. Maybe not at the Boise, Idaho level. I have never been that impressed with Ashcroft. He has a problem of not listening to his subordinates. Seems to think he knows everything. Rumsfield and Wolfowitz have the same problem. I do support the Patriot Act though. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin
