I'm an electronics tech for an oilfield services company. Right now I'm Regional Support for Latin American Operations, supervising our electronics labs from Mexico to Argentina and all points in between. It's really interesting but I'm getting sick of the constant traveling. Hopefully I'll be able to bump up to Global support and work a desk job from Ft. I've written on here bitching about my job a few times. Since I left the US 3 years ago skydiving is a rare novelty for me, and when I do jump it's kinda depressing how much my skill has gone down and knowing that it'll be forever before I can jump again. I've been looking for a new job but there's a few factors...Mainly that the market is shitty and pickn's are slim. I'd prefer to go to the US but unless I get a transfer with the company, it'd be pretty much impossible to find a company that's willing to sponsor me for a visa. I don't have anything against going back to Canada, except it's TOO FUCKING COLD. Today a work friend called me and said that they're expanding the support division that he manages and I should 'keep an eye out for the job posting and put in your application'. It's super early to get my hopes up, but I've got a smile on my face anyways
