after talkin to todd it looks like me and ramon will be back soon. levin vSCS#3

after watching the video i think pablo's line twist was caused by body position. it opened cleanly until the last second it turned it quick 180. possibly he leaned in the harness on one side and the canopy was fixen to turn off heading the other direction. levin vSCR#17

i think the primary cause of a spinning malfunction is a sloppy packjob. paying attention to detail and keeping everything semetrical will help prevent this. the second biggest cause i think is poor body position on deployment. levin vSCS#3

no, he kicked out of it. it actually opened clean but at the last second turned a 180 faster than he could keep up and then just spun up. even with all those twist it wasn't spinning very fast. he got out of it no problem. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#3

usually when we do them, the belly flyer exits with his chest to the prop blast. the rodeo sitflyer piggy backs the bellyflyers back. when the bellyflyer levels off the piggybacker sits up. levin vSCS#3

i finally figured out how to work this picture gear program somewwhat. here's a few more pictures from the aot boogie. levin vSCS#3

i finally figured it out. the camera has to be on memory mode with an image selected on the memory stick in order for the pc to recognize the camera. i got it work using the digital i/o wire. hopefully i'll have some aot boogie pictures up before that topic becomes stale. levin gRAT#40

i don't have anyother software to try it with. the os picks up the firewire but not the digitali/o wire. the software says to use the digital i/o wire but i know people have used it with a firewire. can't seem to figure it out. levin vSCR#17

i have a pc5 and i'm having trouble getting this program to recognize the camera. i've used every combination of baud rate and serial port. i've tried both a firewire and the supplied digital I/O wire. no luck. anybody had similar problems or know what i'm doing wrong? levin vSCS#3

i know a couple of people that have/had 200 jumps and 3 cutaways. both had them from packers and they're own sloppy pack jobs. lesson learned from one of their first; if it takes 3 people to pack it, it ain't gonna work. levin vSCS#3

relief. that was a close one

did you set the pro-dytter in the plane? sometimes when you set it in the plane, in freefall it will go off at higher altitudes than intended. have you contacted l&b? they have some of the best customer service in the industry. if there's something wrong with it they will take care of you. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#3

the first dz.com bigway was sunset load saturday. it was all dz.comers except the outside video. 12 people all together. we exited from 14k. the base had a few issues but worked itself out by 8.5k. i forgot the list of names of who were on it but i believe they were ramon, me, gemeni, douggie, pablo, aggiedave, zennie, sam (forgot dz.com name), sam's dad, andyman, sam's friend kris i think. maybe aggiedave can grab the list tomrrow and verify it. dave- it's on the yellow sign in paper on the manifest window ledge. the second bigway hybrid was sunday morning. it was mostly all dz.comers. there were 14 people. it was my 1100th and it kicked ass. one of the best i've been on so far. we exited at 12k. gemeni, greg, ramon, levin, treeman, aggiedave, pablo, mark, sam and sam's friend kris i believe, karen, perry, andyman and zennie. for those of you that weren't at the aot boogie yall missed a really good time. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#3

CONGRATULATIONS!!! you guys rock! yall worked really for it. now hurry up and get back. it's time to start getting ready for the bigways. levin vSCS#3

i say keep the rw suit just for in case you ever need it. you never know. some day you may get the urge to do rw just for something different. sometimes you may be the only freeflyer at your dz. a few rw dives may be a nice mix with a day of solo jumps. oneday you may find yourself wishing you had a suit with booties for a tracking dive or contest. someday you may decide that you want to get a rating in which case you may find another use for that suit. since i started freeflying i've averaged about 2-3 belly dives a year. i'm glad i still have my suit for those rare occasions. lately i've been thinking about doing more belly dives. i belive i will find my rw suit better suited for fine tuning my movements. and besides your probably not going to get much for used jumpsuit anyway. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#3

ramon and i will be organizing a dz.com hybrid dive saturday. possibly on high alt load. hopin to get a dz.com freefly record and maybe vSCR out of it. if enough people are out tomorrow may try to do it then as well. since that's when most of the high alitude loads are going. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#3

i forgot about them. i don't think they are going to place but wouldn't it be cool if they did. is there is a list somewhere of the teams that are competing? levin vSCS#3
-
i think it'll be arizone freeflight and then rook and swanson. either theam method or the fly boyz will get third. then maybe guano or the dust devils. but there's so many teams and they change so often. who knows. some new team you never heard of before could win. levin gRAT#40
