I beleive that you ahve to have some type of light that is visible for 2 or 3 statute mile from exit to landing.... I have used (spared at no expense of course) in excess of 15 glow stix (I wanted to resemble a x-mas tree) and a flashing beacon light that I turned on under canopy (which could be turned on in fee fall, but if you are jumping with others their eyes wont appreciate it:) one of the guys at my dz specially made a night jump helmet (looked like something doc would have worn out of back to the future) and it has strobes and solid flashlights and all sorts of doohickies on it... I would definately reccomend putting something kind of bright on your main risers (incase of that unexpected cutaway) and I put a minimag light in my shoe laces (it helps when landing to see whats directly under your feet). hope that helps -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

personally I dont have the skills honed yet to be attempting pond swoops on every jump.. (maybe here and there when I feel really comfotable) but not all the time... I would, though, like to see it open for people who want to attempt it.. maybe this will be the season:) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

as far as the coach rating it doesnt look to me like there is a spot for it in the profile... is the profile still structured off of the bic? -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

the pond is pretty cool, although I think the "exit" point could be shaved down a bit to make a smoother transition from water to land...but I guess a few years ago the dzo allowed a couple guys to swoop it after many many times of badgering him to allow the pond to be swooped...then they BOTH pounded in and I think one of them got hurt, so since then the dzo wont allow it... I know its a privately owned airport, so the owner prob has some say in it also. -yoshi I did find the landing area a little small compared to some other dzs, but the truck that came and picked everyone up on EVERY load was nice (even though the landing area isnt all that far away from the hanger) _________________________________________ this space for rent.

Well, this weekend I took the coach course and passed! I can't wait to take some students up. I remeber how exciting it was in my first 15+ jumps to see another person in freefall (I got my licence via static line) and I cant wait to see the expressions on students faces when helping them learn how to fly their bodies. Thanks to all at Jerry's Skydiving Circus (Franklin, IN) for being so welcoming. I had a great time there and I plan to visit more often this summer! -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

yeah well its a pocket rocket compared to my last canopy.. sure it doesnt hold a candle to your 85 vx, but then again I dont have your experience under canopy.... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

when in zhills it was really windy we had a McGuiver (sp?) contest making sail boats out of whatever you could find and racing them in the swoop pond... was a blast (mainly because I won:):):) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

actually I have taken all of my licences and I jsut havent sent them in yet so thats why i havent updated my profile...the instructor examiner that is putting on the course (which happens to be skygod7777's dad) told me that he would take care of everything for me to make sure that I am ok. I do have a sims but I jsut forgot to get the proficiency card and coach course info... probably...I wrote pd and they wrote me back and said it was working...now it doesnt so what the hell man?:) they jsut want me to spend all day thinking about the spectre so I will subconsiosly want one (too bad for them I jsut got a new pocket rocket and the next canopy I buy will prob be in 2 years and will be crossbraced or whatever the fun stuff on the market is then):) ahh well -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.
