Earlier this year we had an AFF Class of about 3 students. Jumped one, even though his average fall rate was 128 he did well in freefall and under canopy. The next 2 go, one lands fine the other never unstows his brakes until about 1000 ft even though he can hear the radio and is now waaaaaay downwind at this point and holding. He lands off the dropzone in a tree ONLY because he said he COULDN'T make it to the power lines. WTF. I didn't teach the class so I talked to the other 2 students to make sure that obstacles were covered and they knew not to land in the power lines or trees so the other guy must have been asleep. I have one of those metal outside fireplaces. I love it. Since the hummingbirds are gone, I sit outside and build the fire and watch the flames. It is amazing how long you can be "entertained" by a "controled" fire. Not sure if I like the TV fire though. We have a ventless gas fireplace in the house but its just on the same as a real fire and I don't think I should make my smores on the gas fire place. If you do CRW, RSL are not really desirable because if you wrap with another canopy. I know people that jump camera that won't jump with the RSL hooked up in case they have to cut away to make sure their main clears all the camera equipment. Sorry Brent, no balloon. The guy wanted some outragous amount of money up front and then decided no altogether cause he apparently talked to someone who said he shouldn't let skydivers jump for his balloon cause we would tear it up. I've been to Moss Point a few times and Mike Igo is one of the best. He is so jumper friendly. Everytime I've been there he has made improvements to the dz to benefit the fun jumper and students. I wasn't there but the stallion crashed, he bot the kingair and put big engines on it and now I get to jump from it. He used to fly for some very important and famous people, at least what I heard, The beach boys, King Hussian (deceased) of Jordan, and some others.
