  1. Where did you find this? I live here and you can't open a paper or turn on the news without hearing about the museum, but I have not heard this. I have also never heard of the "Bentonville Labor Association." Wait a minute: You made that up, didn't you?

  3. I live down the road from the museum and the only disapproval I have seen has been that which has been sought out by the media. I've been to the museum and it is an extraordinary gift. I say this as a former disgruntled Wal-Mart associate. You know what I did to protest? I quit and went to work somewhere else.

Is it possible that this is just a ground effect craft?
  5. I think the European Commission is. Now, that's funny!
  6. You're just jealous because you're not cool like us.
  7. An update to Adobe Flash Player seems to have fixed it.
  8. I'd block the ads first, those get to the point they just overtake the website sometimes anyways. I'd rather not see any anyways. I'll try that. Thanks!
  9. I believe you've answered your own question. OK, I'll re-phrase it: Any idea what may be causing Yahoo to freeze my computer?
  10. Getting a Mac was the first "cool" thing I've done in my life. Don't spoil it for me.
  11. My Mac freezes up when I use the Yahoo mail page. I've researched it and see that a lot of people have this problem, but I have not seen any solution. Any idea what may be causing it?
  12. Seems like they would be obligated to pay you whether they walked you to the door or let you work your 2 week's notice. What makes you think they will rip you off?
  13. +1 I've made this repair myself and it's not that hard. Also, a LOT cheaper than replacing the closer.
  14. My daughter calls those "bird-dragons."
  15. Agreed. There were not enough unqualified people to loan money to to have cause this crisis. A broad spectrum of players are responsible.
  16. In addition to the freeway, there are grape vineyards and their associate wires. I'm told they are pretty bad to land in. I've jumped once at Davis when I was in town. It was great and it's in the same part of the state.
  17. Because of that, I'd man-up and pay the entire bill. So, let me ask...what does the leash have to do with who got bit by whom? Would you have different feelings had her dog been on a leash, too? Or, had neither dog been on a leash? IMO, it appears that you are using the leash law bit to avoid responsibility for your dog's actions. No, not being nasty here...just stating opinion and reflecting on what I would do. I agree. Your dog hurt her dog. Pay up.
  18. I had a Dolphin and it was great. The manufacturer's support was first class and personal.
  19. Tell that to Rick Perry. An estimated 40% of his touted "new jobs" went to illegals. Don't complain about Perry. If he gets the nomination, he won't have a prayer (pun intended) of winning the general election and your guy will walk away with it.
  20. ...or is he? http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/18/us/immigrant-deportations/index.html?hpt=hp_c2 "Washington (CNN) -- Nearly 400,000 people were deported from the United States in the past fiscal year, the largest number in the history of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, the government announced Tuesday."
  21. Hug your kid and be glad everyone's okay. She wasn't bad, she was curious and impulsive, and she's probably scared herself beyond anything you could do to punish her, and is trying to be strong about it because the second she admits she was scared it's going to be a tear-fest. Have a talk with her and find out what her perspective is. Let her know that actions have consequences, make sure she understands that these could have been a lot worse, and make her help work to repay the cost of fixing the damage. And hopefully her curiosity will be confined to internet searches in the future, as someone else has probably done it and filmed it and put it on youtube, particularly if it involves flame or explosions. I'm very glad everyone's okay. I agree with this. She failed to think. The next time she will. Make her help in all the restioration work. That's enough.
