I AM A MAN! And I know what's best for a woman...
NewGuy2005 replied to shah269's topic in Speakers Corner
At what point did you transition from parasite to person? There was a point in your mother's pregnancy at which it was no longer ethical to abort you. Can you tell me what month/week/day/moment that took place? I stopped being a parasite on my parents when I was 19 and got a full scholarship to college, including room and board. I bet they were pretty proud of you for that!! I have 2 that are going through the college selection process right now. I'll be glad when it is over. -

I've seen a lot of mica in North Carolina. Mica is not a metal, but it is thin and shiny. I don't recall if it is soft enough to smear.

Here's a clicky for you: Brown Widow Spiders Thanks. I've seen those, too. Always wondered what they were.
-
Are you talking about brown recluse spiders? They are the small brown spiders with violin shaped markings on their back. I had them really bad in my garage but bought a product called "Delta Dust" to get rid of them. It works great. This is about the only thing I have heard of that works. The sticky traps do not work. It also helps to remove all habitat. They love cardboard, brown paper, and wood. Keep your floor in the garage cleared off. They mostly live on the ground.

The last time I got a virus, I was not on any website. Who can I blame?

I do have identical twin daughters. Every time I break open a double yolk egg, it makes me think.

When you realize that the religious right is full of shit. Well, you knocked that one put of the park. I was expecting someone to say something like "When you log off of Speaker's Corner." Seriously, does anyone know when brain activity begins in a fetus?
-
When does brain activity begin?
-
Not arguing or anything, but can you tell me what day a fetus becomes a whole being?

I see your point, especially the roomate part. And then there are future boyfriends to think about.

Well.... she's good as gold and smart, so that would not be a problem. My worry is that using it will be a nuisance. Also, a year from now when the kids part company with us, will having all of their passwords as well as our passwords being managed by one piece of software be a problem.
-
Open source means that it can be modified by the end user, correct?
-
Does anyone here use it? One of my kids is wanting to install it on the family computer to manage all of the accounts for all four of us. I've read a review of it on PC Magazine and they say it is the best there is. I have no doubt about that but my concerns are: 1) Is it compatible with multiple users on one computer? 2) What happens next year when the kids go off to college with their own computers and all of their accounts are secured by software that resides on the computer at home? 3) Convenience. Account security is not something that I worry about and I don't need another piece of technology that has to be managed. All input will be appreciated. Thanks!
