I had a red '86 944 Turbo. One of the most beautiful cars ever made. You could run it at 100MPH all day long and it wouldn't even break a sweat. I've never driven a car like it since. That being said, it was kind of a chore to own. Spark plug wires for that thing set me back over $100. There wasn't anything cheap on that car except the air in the tires.

If I'm not mistaken, it's been that way quite a while. Computer genterated trading was part of the reason for Black Monday" back in '87 as well as the "Flash Crash" last May.

Don't listen to these guys. Tulsa is great. If you like art museums, Gilcrease and Philbrook are excellent. Lots of good restaurants. Skydive Skyranch in Siloam Springs. Arkansas is just an hour (or les) away.

You're right. I assume thier credit is not stellar, but would insist on a formal credit check to see if it's really bad. At this point, I'm telling my Mom not to do it. It's not hard to borrow money, especially if you a 20% down payment.
