A US president in his back pocket. Now suffering from Ukraine-syndrome. His $700 million yacht seized by Italy. He has to guzzle champagne and brag about shelling civilians to stroke his ego.

Well for some things its best to be set in your ways. Integrity, standing up to bullies and the rights of the vulnerable. When others waiver in the face of proper and righteous decisions. You must stand firm. To your point, positive change is good. Open to new ideas that present positive solutions, also good.

Ukraine was supplied with 20 Mig-29s with US assistance. The deal included US used F-16 aircraft U.S. Approves Sale Of Fighter Jets To Bulgaria Amid Speculation About Supply Of MiGs To Ukraine Other agreements with other governments to receive newer US aircraft in exchange for Mig parts and airframes. Have not been made public. But recent deals for newer US aircraft and arms. Together with the sudden transfers of "spare parts" to third parties, suggest this.

Then goes on to suggest that she should give up that right now that she is free. Instead of suggesting that she should continue to not stand. To show the world, Iran, N. Korea and Russia that protest in America is a constitutional right. A protected right. A necessary right when display of political ideals is necessary. Black, lesbian, woman and famous. All factors that grate on the very souls of FOX viewers.

All the old Soviet tanks in western countries are being sent to Ukraine. Many are being upgraded with reactive armor and new thermal sights. Poland aims to eventually have 1,000 K2 tanks and 672 K9 howitzers, including “polonised” versions produced in Poland, reports Business Insider Polska. In total, Poland’s arms purchases from South Korea this year have reached $12.3 billion. If the US and NATO were smart they would find a western buyer for U.S. Navy officials explained that “USS Nimitz (CVN 68) is planned to be removed from the battle force in fiscal year (FY) 2025, when the ship's Terminal Off-load Program begins, with inactivation scheduled to begin in 2027.” Japan would be the ideal candidate, or possibly Australia. Australia is in the process of developing a nuclear submarine fleet.

Well the house just passed a $858 billion defense bill. $45 billion more than Biden requested. An 8% increase. In other news The annual military budget could hit $1 trillion by 2027 "CBO budget-scoring rules don’t typically account for the political reality behind defense budgets of the past few years — namely, bipartisan support for plussing up the defense budget by tens of billions of dollars per year." Being an old Alberta/Texas boy. You should know more than anyone. You can't teach an old horse new tricks. Brent is not capable of changing. He's been rode hard and put away wet so many times by the GOP. He can't change. He returns to Parler, Truth Social, etc. Like a horse that found spilled oats in a spot a decade ago. Thinking that more oats will reappear. Its all he knows.

We all knew he might get around to answering. So for now voting for him and the policies of his party is all ok. In the meantime his party will protect him. His voters will protect him. Those who he gave pardons to, i.e. the "capo bastone" will protect him. After all a corporate veil shields him from responsibility. For republicans responsibility is for the other guy. For suckers, stooges, taxpayers. -
For the second time in a year Germany has had to raid far right groups wanting to overthrow the government. At least 25 were arrested overnight. They had plans for their own January 6th style attack on the German parliament. Earlier this year other raids were conducted. "The group’s plans included an armed attack on the German Parliament building, known as the Reichstag" a Russian link is being investigated. "The prosecutors described the group, which they did not identify, as being influenced by the ideologies of the conspiracy group QAnon and a right-wing German conspiracy group called the Reichsbürger, or Citizens of the Reich, which believes that Germany’s post-World War II republic is not a sovereign country but a corporation set up by the victorious Allies." The danger of the far right in western democracies can't be underestimated. Especially in the US where attacks on Governors(Michigan) the January 6th attack. Have had to deal with stonewalling by a major party.

Agree Agree Agree. I didn't think that I could agree with Joe and Jakee on the same issue on the page of posts. The more Putin attacks Ukrainian infrastructure the more I think the Baltic leaders are right and know Russia best. They suggest that arming Ukraine substantially better is the way to deter Putin. Because sanctions are not sharp enough to outsmart Putin. The Ukrainians have been smart and responsible in the use of NATO supplied weapons. But they are suffering large losses in the process. An exhausted capitulated Ukraine and a Putin win does nobody favors. He could win. What if he drafts a million men next spring? Decides Georgia, Belarus, Moldova should be next? Even before he finishes off Ukraine?

President Putin has come out in support of the "idiotic religious nuts". Its no wonder that US religious conservatives and our own SK is in love with Putin. Attacking the vulnerable in society. Soon the nightsticks will be out to beat some religion into them.
