  1. Ditto...since I could be one of those jumpers looking for a used CYPRES in a few months.
  2. Nope, no DZs in Florida!
  3. Eh, speak for yourself girl...I'm only insane on rare occasions.
  4. There's beer in Utah? I've heard that there is some 3.2% stuff that kinda sorta maybe resembles beer, but that's about it.
  5. You see gals, straight men would NEVER admit to having a thing for another guy. They MIGHT admit that some other dude is not ugly or that he's good looking, but attracted to him? Never. Girls can go, "Oh, she's so beautiful!" in front of other girls or guys and it's acceptable, but a guy could never say, "Hey man, don't you think he's fine!" He'd be instantly considered gay. I've heard that in a gym context though, that it might be ok to be jealous of another guy's body or something.
  6. Ever since Goldeneye, she has been near the top of my list. Oooh la la!
  7. 0:5:? 5 fun jumps at Byron yesterday. On the sunset load, Brianfry and I did a little freeflying, pulled a little high (7ish), flew back together, then did a little end cell bump for some CReWage.
  8. An ex coworker of mine (from FF) works there (for the company of same name). I'm sure he and his wife would like someone to play poker with...and you could help convince them that skydivers aren't insane.
  9. Oh, shut the hell the up. Yes, I'm still at work.
  10. Ian, I sing in my church choir and another Men's Russian choir (I'm not russian) that sings Russian liturgical music. I've heard barbershop a few times, but don't know what it is really about. Is it just really tight harmonies (e.g. 3rd's/5th's/7th's) moving together?
  11. Interesting....maybe I'll post a turkey pic if I can soon.
  12. So Vigil's not allowed? (I was thinking of getting a Vigil for my next AAD.) That sucks!
  13. Was not aware that Marcus had moved. Nice guy.
  14. From thestraightdope.com: Well, you can't blame the chickens. They started out flying, after all. At least their ancestors did. The ancestor of modern chickens, the wild red jungle fowl (also a darn good name for a rock band), wasn't a great flier, but he could get around when he had to. The entire poultry family (chickens, turkeys, guineas, ducks) are adapted to living on the ground. Their beaks are better adapted to pecking off the ground, their feet to walking instead of perching, and their wings are smaller than other birds their size. At work about a year ago, a wild turkey somehow flew into a 3rd story window, got stuck in the window, then the bloody mess fell out and plopped on the ground. Animal control had to come and clean up the mess. There was a blood streak for a few weaks before it was cleaned. The person whose cube was next to the window went home because of trauma that day. Almost unbelieveable that a wild turkey could somehow get about 30 ft in the air and enough momentum to crash through an office window, but it sure the hell happened.
  15. Naw, cats and kittens just completey spazz when frightened. I tried bathing my boy when he was 2 months old, only had him for a couple of days and he was flea ridden. Holding him by the scruff may have worked since I just wanted to dip him in a bathroom sink of soapy water, but he would have none of that. Complete spazz and me afraid of being cut to pieces.
  16. Hey!!! I thought you were going to come up to Santa Rosa and have a beer with me sometime!
  17. No, you're not! You're a short, stocky dude who drinks too much!
  18. Even though the ocean view was nice (did probably half of my 104 jumps there), alas but they are gone. Besides, if you are in Napa, Davis is only a little over 30 min away if traffic isn't bad. Just go there and rent from action air.
  19. Thanks. I guess I haven't seen a pullout before, or have forgotten.
  20. Don't know what you mean. I have a BOC pouch for the PC with a hackey handle.
  21. The name is deceiving. It really is not a dark beer. Yeah, I know, but as I said, I'm not fond of the taste.
  22. I'm actually not too fond of that one...just not my preference. Dark? A good Dunkel Hefeweizen like a Franziskaner is great.
