No, it is 4:15 and I'm work, but will leave in around 30 min.

OK...same design on top & bottom skins. Interesting that that the pack volume would increase by "a lot" (however a lot is defined).
-
You SO deserve it just as much as me now.
-
Well, you also probably don't have mortgage and a job that doesn't pay enough -> more disposable income to spend on jump tix....and I have other...responsibilities going on on the weekends. I'm sure this non-pieing will be made up eventually.
-
So what is this "big design" on the surface? Some really think decal or something? Just curious.

spectra is a type of canopy suspension line (aka normal "microline"), a Spectre is a 7-cell slightly tapered ZP canopy produced by Performance Designs.

WTFO? so what if i am 22? what soes thathave to do with anything? I know i want this, I have been wanting it since i was 16. do YOU have a problem with this? or is it just an insult? i don'tthink he ment it as in insult. The person you are when you're 22 is not the same person at 32 Nope, I didn't. No need to say anything else in this thread, as others have already said it as good as I could have.

For some of you newbs, the jump#'s for licenses were for the most part doubled from B-D a couple of years ago.
-
Why are you selling it? Do you really only have 7 jumps? Have you even jumped this canopy? Look at the Classifieds. I'm thinking that you may not be able to get more than about 600 for it. There is not too much demand for older models. If it really only has around 350 jumps, then the lines are probably original and may be somewhat out of trim. This would also lower the value of the canopy. I just handed my Sabre1-120 over to a rigger and jumping Saturday with a new lineset to install. The canopy has around 500-ish jumps, in good condition, but the lineset looked like it was probably original and reasonably out of trim. Whoohoo for new lineset on next jumps!

Damn, man! You're jump numbers are climbing fast! Congrats! I hope you got pied too! Some day I'll actually figure out how to backtrack so I can lead a tracking dive.
-
You're only 22. Wait. You don't know anything yet.
-
What do I expect? I expect answers, of course! There have been several posts saying, "I landed my Smart at 1.8:1 and it landed great!" or "My PDR113 loaded at 2:1 was a great ride and I stood up the landing easily." or " I jump my Sabre2 at 1.7:1 and it still performs great." (even though it may be only rated up to 1.6:1. There have also been discussions on jumping a lightly loaded elliptical (e.g. 1:1 or even less). I want to know why? How does the wing perform in these out of recommended ranges? Why do people jump them in these ranges? Etc., etc.?

thanks guys...but I still can't believe there are so few replies to this thread. I thought it would get a lot more discussion. I thought of the Canopy Control forum, but thought that it was mostly just swoopers.

Cook a Greek/Turkish/Arabic/Egyptian blend in an ibrik on your stove. That is REAL authentic coffee. Unfortunately, I'm using an electric stove and an Italian frothing pitcher until I get an ibrik.

Somewhere to crash in/near Zephyrhills on Saturday night?
Elisha replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
the "toes" incident was at SDA! Grue said he'll change his avatar to the xray of the bent toe before they cracked it back into place Let me guess, while at dinner, he did the old "slide under the table trick" and stubbed his toe on the table leg. You'll have to ask him to explain. Ooooooohhhh. -
Damn straight it is! She had me use her shoulder for balance and I still fell off and the line hit one of my nads.
-
dude, you scare me...frequently...but you're alive and well, so that's good.

(not me):3:0 Saw an AFF Level-1 student not flair (or properly) and crash...looks like two broken ankles. A level-1 student before his load had pretty much a perfect landing. Poor guy. 3 jumps. Compared to last weekend, it seems like my flying skills have detierorated. At least next time, I will get to fly an in trim freshly lined canopy - whoohoo!
-
What are you talking about, I know nothing of this! Why, thank you.

Happy B-day Phil!

OE works fine. I'll try uninstalling.

Ummm isn't Richmond in the East Bay? Sorry, OUTER RICHMOND DISTRICT. This is SAN FRANCISCO, CA PEOPLE!!!!!!!
-
Mmmm...Brainsssssss....
-
I'm going to an Open House (B-day party) in Outer Richmond afterwork. I don't want to stay too long though and could meet someone for a drink somewhere. I'm NOT driving to the East/South Bay though. Let me know/PM whatever. If someone PMs me, I'll give out my cell#. If you're going to be hanging out somewhere anyways, let me know where and I'll stop by (if I can actually find parking of course).

Every time I open it since about two days ago it crashes when I try to look at the Inbox. When AVG tries to scan the first new message, it just sits scanning it forever. WTF? It says that all my new e-mails from the past two days have been downloaded, but I can't even see them! So far I have: 1) Used AVG to do a regular full disk scan including downloading the most recent update 2) Run Adaware 3) Run Spybot Search & Destroy 4) Downloaded Thunderbird 1.5 (newest version) and installed it. It still crashes. I suppose I could switch back over to OE in the meantime, but it sucks and I want to use Thunderbird since it is better! Thanks.
