My first was the NCFF in 2003 - I had around 30 somthing jumps and no A License - had to land at "the Barn". Scott Meeker and some other guy through me out of the CASA and Dingo was calling me Bumblebee because of this yellow jumpsuit I borrowed from ActionAir. Ditto what the other guy said about hooking you up with lowtimers like myself.

Yes we are. I'm sure all those Gulf and east coasters would disagree plus many west coasters. Upper 60's is barely tolerable to "enjoy" and that is the warmest it gets!

Shit the water is cold in Cali! . Wrong, the water is warm in Cal, its in the upper 60s and you dont need a wetsuit. You know, youre over here ranting on about surfing and youre from Florida. Upper 60's is NOT warm. Even though I grew up in Santa Barbara, I always thought it was cold. I think the warmest the ocean ever got there was about 70 one year. Look at a temperature map of the Gulf coast and East coast states (from around NY south) - THAT is warm.

I try to keep myself in shape. Even though it was 12 years ago now, I wrestled 4 years in High School in a tough program that beat the shit out of you and boasted how several people went on to sucessful military careers. After High School, I rode my bike, run and play sports at times. I feel I have a little extra motivation (or should I say threat) since I have scoliosis - all three kinds. I have a small lateral curve (scoliosis - probably the least noticeable, but I feel it), lordosis (lumbar/sway back - makes my big ass look bigger) and kyphosis (hunchback). If my stomache is big or full, it can't support my back muscles well and I have back pain. I do yoga because of this, which has by far been the best physical therapy. At times during the past year, I'd say that my back feels better than it did when I was 20. The muscles are just very hard and imbalanced. I'm sure most people wouldn't notice, but my back hurts and it sucks. Now, if I was more disciplined with food and beverage on a consistent basis, I'm sure I could be in even better shape, but I like good food and beverage. WHERE'S THE DAMN BEER TRUCK??!!?!?!

(entering this thread late I guess) So why is this thread criticizing women and not ALL skydivers vs surfers? For that matter, I might as well just start a rant criticizing anyone is not in as good physical shape as me.
