Did you read the case? Small is a US citizen, not a foreign national... Having said that, there are good points made in both the majority and the decent... but the decent's point on this decision having broader reach than just this case is important... and the fact that the guy was not convicted of peeing in the street, he was convicted of gun smuggling... the court should have just declined to hear the case and let the lower court's ruling stand. Perhaps it should, but that is not what the Consitution calls for... there's always the Amendment process... As for the Senate majority exercising their consitutional powers to change the rules of the Senate, it is always something that should be approached with great care, but they are well within their authority to do it. When the Army builds a base, they start with the motorpools and gunnery ranges... housing and MWR stuff is last, so if money is short, so are those facilities. As I mentioned in a subsequent post (to the one you quoted)... the current policy has not always been the policy... it has only been the policy since we swore off the use of chemical weapons... I'm not sure how long the "scope and kind" policy was in place, policy prior to that was classified... current policy and the "scope and kind" policy were not classified because of the deterrent value inherent in an enemy knowing what they will get if they choose certain actions. Actually, the policy for a long time was a response "in kind and scope" meaning that if nuked we would respond with a nuke of similar size, on a similar target, if chemed, we would respond with a similar chem, on a similar target... it was changed when we swore off the use of lethal chemical weapons,to being a purely nuclear response not necessarily limited in its nature. The short answer is no... US policy is to only use nukes if they, or other NBC weapons are used against us, and if NBC weapons are used against us, we will use nukes in response... I support that policy... If they try to slime us, or shoot a nuke at us, we should make them glow... I would not see a strike in response to a launch as pre emptive. The 34mm is without the .5 conversion lens... the camera works OK... I have one and have used it as a second camera on my helmet... I wouldn't give up my D60 for it, but for a low cost entry into digital it can get the job done... Lens fogged up.. is there a way to fix it?

On my video camera, I put it on both the outside and inside lens of the wide angle, as well as the camea lens itself... On my still I put it on the outside... I hvae tried putting it on the inside, but the glass on that end is so small you can buff it out very well. CatCrap works great... I jump in Houston, and we have alot of humidity... fogging can be a real problem... On moderate days, I can put on the CC in the morning and go all day... when it is real bad I re-apply every jump... it will generally keep the fog at bay in frefall, not always under canopy though. I don't think a doctor should be compelled to offer the information and/or a referral (as seems to be required in the bill in question)... I agree that the Dr. should advise the patient of the possibility of pregnacy... if the patient asks for options, then the Dr. should advise the patient of the options available at that facility, and that other options may be available at other facilities... beyond that the patient needs to do the work, even a rape victim. I don't see the two situations being alike at all... one is withholding information about life saving procedures and options, the other is withholding information about optional, not medically necessary procedures. In your scenario, I would say the withholding of information is unethical, in the second I would only see it that way if the patient asked for the information and the doctor lied about it.
