    What of what I listed is prisoner abuse? Life in Prison is punishment, not someone's happy place, and not rehab... how is making prison a better existance than a criminal whould otherwise have on the outside a deterent? Going to prison for life should be going to hell on earth for life... if that prospect makes a criminal "die trying" so beit, at least they won't be sucking on the public tit for very long.     I realize that prison life is no walk in the park, but perhaps if hard time were really hard time, it would be a deterent... If a life sentance looked like: sufficient food, water, shelter, and big rocks into little rocks (or something along those lines) until they drop... no extraordinary medical care (i.e. you don't get to go to the top rated cancer hospital in the world for free), no TV, no books, no smokes, etc... 3 hots (or colds) and a cot, and hard labor...     One flash... it does not have a hook for a second recycles are from 1.5 - 2.5 seconds with a good charge... charge lenght depends on how much you use it...     One note... I checked mine, and its an E2 not an E3... my bad... The E3 is an upgrade from the E2 (2 more batteries and compatible with more types of recharables) As for the E2, I have not used the Quantum so I can't compare the two... It is light and definetly reduces the recycle time vs. the flash alone, and it seems to last forever (fresh batteries are better for the speed though)... I had it mounted strapped to the back of the flash itself, but that reduces access to the power switch... I'll probably relook that when I remount it this season.     Vitrual PC runs Windows XP on a Mac... I have it, it runs fine, maybe a little slower than a native machine, but that is probably my set up... the only thing I need to use it for is MS Project (since I don't use it enough to justify buying a Mac PM app and work gave me the MSP)... otherwise I use the Office on the Mac side.     Office for Mac is cheaper than Office for PC by about $100... Apple hase wordprocessing and presentation application bundles that are equal to or better than Word and PP for $79... Final Cut Express is cheaper than Premier... the other Adobe products are the same for either platform... There are more games out there for PC, but that gap is closing... You are not laying out any more $$ for Mac stuff than PC stuff, and there are plenty of Mac apps to get done just about anything you would need to around the house or DZ, and most offices too.     Its probably best to just keep it within the community... If you are that hard up for cash, that you could jepordize future tandem business for the DZ, and yourself (fewer tandems = fewer tandem videos), you should look at a less expensive sport. You could even get bumped from the rotation at some DZs for it. There are a few near death or fatality videos from these parts that could have been sold for a chunk money that have not been...
