  1. And this is any different than this? Barry came to national prominence as mayor of the national capital, the first prominent civil-rights activist to become chief executive of a major American city;[2] he gave the presidential nomination speech for Jesse Jackson at the 1984 Democratic National Convention. His celebrity transformed into international notoriety in January 1990, when Barry was videotaped smoking crack cocaine and arrested by FBI officials on drug charges. Your nonrelenting attacks on those who lean right are so predictable they are humorous and stupid all at the same time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Barry
  2. Whipping a child with a wire isnt corporal punishment by a long shot. Thats child abuse.
  3. This story is the epitome of what is not being reported in the meda. Most likely gangbangers spraying and praying and its all over the news. Yet not one legislator has come up with a solution to deal with the violent criminal gangs. Not one law about anything to do with criminals. I'm not going to go over the background checks argument because its blatantly obvious what the answer is. But as soon as a shooting is report its front page center, but somehow people like Kermit Gosnell always slip in media coverage. Guess he doesn't fit in the media's agenda.
  4. Thugs must not have the Discovery Channel to watch that mythbusters episode where they show definitively that the gangbanger side pistol method removes the sight picture and creates for very inaccurate shots. Reminds me of that show Intervention. Where a TV crew follows around a junkee showing them getting jacked up and at the end of the week there's always a special 'interview' where the intervention goes down...which inevitably leads me to ponder this question...DONT THOSE DUMBASSES EVER WATCH A&E?
  5. ------------------------------------------------------- You must not know squat about new orleans. 19 people were shot and NOBDODY got killed. Wanna know why? Dumbasss thugs that spray bullets randomly. If this were a skilled operator there would be 19 dead people. This story is so stupid its laughable.
  6. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Similarly to when Obama said god bless you at a planned parenthood event? Oh this irony is killing me!
  7. BTW this article is straight from MSNBC..the gospel as you say.. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Presidential elections start in Iowa. On Friday, Sen. Rand Paul put his stake in the ground for a possible run in 2016 by mocking the Obama administration and delivering a blistering critique of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's handling of the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. The administration has been criticized for failing to provide security during the attack and for its characterization of the incident afterward. Speaking at the Iowa GOP’s annual Lincoln Dinner, Paul questioned the initial response to the attacks and asked, "First question to Hillary Clinton: Where in the hell were the Marines?" "It was inexcusable, it was a dereliction of duty, and it should preclude her from holding higher office," the Kentucky Republican added to loud applause. Republicans' search for a candidate to deliver their first victory in a presidential election since 2004 began as Paul used the plum speaking slot to plant the seeds for his own possible bid. And he won his biggest applause by taking on Clinton, who's seen as the early front-runner for the Democratic nomination to succeed President Barack Obama. Paul was just elected to the Senate in 2010 and is perhaps best known as the son of the former Texas Congressman Ron Paul, whose two campaigns for president attracted a fervent, grassroots following that might translate to his son. But the Kentucky senator has been far from shy about stoking speculation about his own play for the Republican nomination in 2016. He told reporters earlier Friday that he had not made up his mind and would not decide until 2014. The fundraiser on Friday had unmistakable overtones of a presidential campaign, though the last one ended just six months ago. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, captured that sentiment best in his speech preceding Paul's: "The process of selecting the next leader of the free world begins in Iowa, and it's already begun." Paul's speech doubled at times as a comedy scene, as he seemed at ease before the crowd, stepping away from the podium, microphone in hand, to project a casual demeanor. He rattled off jokes about absurd pork-barrel projects, recalling the campaign style of Arizona Sen. John McCain as he ran for president in 2008. But Paul also used his closely watched speech to offer his own prescriptions about the path forward for the Republican Party, which has been suffering from somewhat of an identity crisis since Mitt Romney lost to Obama in last fall's election. On no issue is that crisis more clear than immigration. A bipartisan bill has advanced in the Senate to allow undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship, but King and Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, both railed against the proposal in their speeches before Paul's. Paul has spoken in favor of some kind of immigration reform, a dicey topic before this Republican crowd, and he acknowledged those disagreements. But he also tried to align himself with King and Grassley — two of the most stalwart opponents of immigration reform. "I'm also with Sen. Grassley and Congressman King on the fact that I think we were hoodwinked in 1968," he said, referencing the last time Congress passed a major immigration overhaul. "We were promised security, and it never came." But Paul also said there's a "chance [he] could vote for the bill" if he can add amendments strengthening its border security measures. Paul also spoke about broadening the party's appeal, namely to Latinos, African Americans and young voters. "We're an increasingly diverse nation, and I think we do need to reach out to other people that aren't like us, don't look like us, don't wear the same clothes, that aren't exactly who we are," he said. "We're going to have to do something." http://nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/11/18183010-rand-paul-challenges-hillary-clinton-in-key-iowa-speech?lite By the way Rand Paul went to high school in my hometown. He graduated around the same time period of my wife and we looked him up in the yearbook, although back then he called himself RandY Paul. The Paul family moved to Lake Jackson, Texas, in 1968,[9][12] where Rand was raised[13][14] and his father began his medical practice and for an extent of time was the only obstetrician in Brazoria County.[9][12] When he was 13, his father was elected to the United States House of Representatives.[15] In his teenage years, Paul studied the Austrian economists that his father respected, as well as Ayn Rand.[9] Paul went to Brazoswood High School and was on the swimming team and played defensive back on the football team.[7][13] Paul attended Baylor University from fall 1981 to summer 1984. He was enrolled in the honors program at Baylor, and had scored approximately in the 90th percentile on the Medical College Admission Test.[16] During the time he spent at Baylor, he was involved in the swim team and Young Conservatives of Texas and was a member of a secret organization known as the NoZe Brotherhood.[17] Paul left Baylor early when he was accepted into the Duke University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 1988 and completed his residency in 1993.[16] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rand_paul If he does prevent that slug Hillary Clinton from being elected in 2016 that would make me very happy.
  8. Combine these statistics with someone like Kermit Gosnell and the odds are definately stacked against very young infants.
  9. I'm not 100% sure this was in chicago. But it sounded like chicago was mentioned over the radio. If this truly is in Chicago, then stupid ass cops like this are probably part of the reason there are so many murders there. I mean what kind of dumbass places a perp in the backseat NOT handcuffed and NOT searched? Idiots...all three of them. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/83278957/
  10. With over 500 murders in chicago alone I would hope there would be a visable decline in murders, but at the same time if its just gangbangers why cant they open up soldier field... and fill the stadium with rival gangs, then let them kill each other off...then the next year would be a good litmus test to see what the actual number of people murdered that werent in gangs...because the previous year most of them offed themselves already. Problem solved.
  11. I wonder if it has to do something with the way the government has been trying to ramrod gun control down everyones throats and the president has been parading the newtown victims families like a new coat. The liberal media has articles almost every day on guns and many sheeple would believe the ocean is made out of orangutan semen if joe biden or lawrence o'donnell said so.
  12. Someone must be sick over at MSNBC to release reports like this one... Gun violence in America has fallen dramatically over the past two decades, and the number of murders committed with a firearm is down too, though guns are still by far the leading type of crime weapon, according to a new report from the Justice Department. As for where crime guns came from, the study notes that less than two percent of convicted inmates reported buying their weapons at gun shows or flea markets. The highest number, 40 percent, said the guns came from a family member or a friend. About 37 percent said the weapons were stolen or obtained from an illegal source. The rest say the guns were bought at a retail store or pawn shop. Murders committed with a gun dropped 39 percent to 11,101 in 2011, from a high of 18,253 in 1993, according to the report. Other crimes committed with guns were down even more sharply — from 1.53 million in 1993 to 467,300 in 2011, a drop of 70 percent, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Around 70 percent of murders were committed with a firearm, and of those, the vast majority involved a handgun -- fluctuating between 70-80 percent. The report is strictly factual and offers no analysis about the reasons for the decline in gun violence http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/07/18108298-gun-violence-in-us-has-fallen-dramatically-over-past-20-years-justice-dept-report-finds#comments
  13. Well billvon said that watching republicans get all worked up about this is 'fun' for him.
  14. I dont think that will work. The NBA has a strict 'No Mullet' policy.
  15. I think if the GOP intends to have any chance at winning they better be licking Dr. Carsons asscrack...and quickly. IMO he is the only chance they have at the 2016 presidency.
  16. I'll take Dr. Ben Carson thank you. He has already indicated if he is chosen he would run for president.
  17. I'll choose door #2. And it might not be enough for BHO to get impeached. I'm ok with that. But I damn sure hope that it prevents that nasty bitch hillary from becoming president in 2016.
  18. Andy, If you followed the case could you give me your professional opinion if Casey Anthony is guilty or innocent? Thanks
  19. I'd bet if you ever were in a race car and felt the adrenaline, youd watch a few races.
  20. Obamas stance on trying to violate citizens 2nd amendment rights have done much more for gun purchases than anything the NRA has ever done. Nice try though.
  21. More like the insurance company finding some piddly reason in the contract so they wont have to spend any money.
  22. But parading the newtown victims families all across the country under the guise of gun control is totally fine with you? And that isnt spin?
  23. ------------------------------------------------------ Its refreshing to think the murder of 4 men that could have been prevented with a little help is a fun topic for you.
  24. Thats not how drafting works. If it were just two cars that would be one boring ass finish.
  25. I think his sig line tells it all.
