I take a little closer to 20 cuz ya just can't trash pack a Sabre. So I'm real fussy about clearing the lines, quartering the slider just so and rolling the nose. Gives me really nice openings but I have to do all that stuuf. When I demo'd other canopies, I've closed in as quick as 10 minutes -- especially when trash packing. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Wow. This is a hard one. Like a few others, I have favorites to suit certain moods. My top five are prolly... The Matrix American Beauty The Green Mile Monty Python & The Holy Grail The Blues Brothers "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Hey Trey, if you can't get hold of him I might be able to help you depending upon what it is. Drop me an email. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Heck once word gets out, 80% of the guys here will be falling over themselves offering you their rigs. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Not if you format the hard drive. Actually, there are some "shredder" programs out there that will essentially format the sectors that contain the files you want destroyed. Oncethe bits are flipped, there ain't no recovering what was previously there. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Dang Chuck, you're being conservative there. I'd give us at least 10:1 over wreck. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

And yes, Zennie is in a very dark mood tonight. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Whoa! Gang! Before we start down this path again! I think everyone is just kidding around here. Nothing personal from Richard or Ann. Go back and reread everyone's posts and you'll see that everyone is just doing a bit of good natured ribbing. Hey Richard... Funny thing about that bandanna is that it actually has a function. It ain't for fashion. I've tried my damnedest to get my Bonehead set up so that I can hear my ProTrack. I've baked it, cut out the inner lining. Still can't hear a damn thing. So I started putting my ProTrack in my bandanna right over my ear. Hear it great now, but admittedly it looks a little goofy. But hey, function over fashion ya know?

A clique is a group of people who are like their own little secret society and make it hard for others to join in. A wouldn't call a regular informal get-together a clique necessarily. Sure it might lead to one, if the wrong people took part in it and started saying "What's he/she doing here?" But if it was just a regularly scheduled time/place to get together and talk skydiving, I don't think that's bad necessarily. Just my $0.02 "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Interesting trivia tidbit. Apparently during WW2 we brought in a number of Navajo indians to transmit and "decode" messages in native Navajo. Many in the military considered it one of our most secure "encryption" schemes during the war. I mean, how many German Navajos can there be? "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Nope no ugly chicks. I didn't know there was such a thing as an ugly skydiving chick. They're all hotties in my book.

As far as I'm aware nobody made an attempt, and I was there until the beer light came on. Still, it was a fun day. Made a couple of new freefly friends and got some really great jumps in. The new pilot is still working on the spots so I had one off landing on the golf course. I set up right over the green and watched all the befuddled golfers gazing up. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Like I mentioned in my email to you. No worries. These types of things can get way out of control very quickly. And everyone winds up saying things they regret later. So if I've said anything to offend you or anyone else here, I'm sorry as well. Look at it this way. Skydivers are family. Family will get into fights sometimes (I remember sucker punching my bro once when I was 12 ) but it doesn't mean we don't still love each other. Same deal here. So, at least as I'm concerned, ther fight's over, a big group hug for everybody, and now let's get back to having fun skydiving!

Oh man. Skreamer is so fucked. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Now this is totally rumor, but someone once told me a story of somebody who had a double total and managed somehow to land in a pile of cut-down trees. They acted like big 'ol air/branch cushion and she came out unscathed. Prolly an urban legend, but I suppose if the pile were high enough it probably could dampen the impact enough to save you. So I'm brining my trusty chainsaw to the DZ next outing! "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

I haven't reallybeen following this (or the Carnivore) stuff all that closely. Is the FBI planning on distributing this wholesale or targeting specific machines? If so it seems like they'd need a warrant to avoid running afoul of the Fed's own anti-hacking laws. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Not a bad gig from what I hear (if you can shrug off idiotic customers blaming you for their losses).

I thought the better odds were with blackjack than craps. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

That's probably a pretty good way of looking at it. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

8 way. And I have a list of all Houston skydivers. I'll bring it with me. I'll get in this time. I'll be wearing a FF suit. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Swing by Houston and jump with us! "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."
-
Ummmmmm.... not going there. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."
-
Not that they didn't try. But I think there will be a fair number that will be spending some time as "Bruiser's" cell mate. "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."

Picture, if you will, a bad "Survivor" episode, except that the island itself is sinking as well. That's sort of what it's like to work for Enron right now. I'm not going to go into all the boo-hoo, sob-sob stuff, cuz I gave Slappie an earful of that yesterday (yes even we Eastern philospohers get depressed from time to time ). Suffice it to say there are going to be entire textbooks written about this whole mess. But it more or less amounts to "creative accounting". To give some of you a feel of the scope of the cratering here, as recently as this past February, Enron's stock was valued at around $80/share. It is currently selling for around $0.39. So, needless to say, I look forward to this Saturday, cuz I don't think about this stuff when I'm at the DZ. *shrug* "Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control. Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper."
