  3. 42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot. Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. Life at work is like a tree full of monkeys; the ones on top look down and see smiling faces, the ones on the bottom look up and see assholes. 7. >you create dioxins.... http://dioxinfacts.org/sources_trends/sources.html I have noticed new wood chip gasification facilities are being constructed frequently lately here and this is a concern of mine also, I used to live near the Burlington Wood chip fired electrical generation plant and as clean and green as the facility was constructed to be, there was a groundswell of people who were worried about the dioxins being released into the air. http://listserv.repp.org/pipermail/gasification_listserv.repp.org/2008-March/010255.html Evidently one solution is to pyrolyse at a high temp 800- 1000 deg.C Additionally much of the excitement about this new-{old} technology is the carbon sequestration aspect using the charcoal or biochar as a soil amendment, spreading it over vast agricultural lands and discing it into the soil. Tests have shown a dramatic increase in plant vigor when this is done. I plan to build a small gasifier but I don't yet feel comfortable adding charcoal to my soil for gardening until I know what chemicals are in that material. 8. >What's that? Is that the "how soon will people argue over politics" test? well you have to moderate this place but I actually get a fairly decent reality check by reading a wide spectrum of opinions here. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

  10. >Much of their prosperity is built on our markets; much of our prosperity is built on their banks and their industry. It would be foolish of either country to want to destroy the other. This is where i was going also... commerce, the new diplomacy. backed by a defense sized military. The alternative is a giant sized invasion ready military, which has worked for many a nation state over the decades to gain access to resources.....but this has proven a lot more messy geopolitically as history has shown and were not sustainable. 11. 15. nah, I am a gear head too, I have a 55 Willys Jeep that I used to drive to Maine all the time in the 80's- had to put a Warn overdrive into the transfer case to get it to handle highway speed. People were amazed that I drove that thing on busy highways like I 495. Marvel Mystery Oil keeps her ruinning smooth. There has been LSD in that rig...but not in the differential. 17. >it would help to end foreign banks intrusion into our lending markets. you do know that our financial system infiltrates just about everywhere else in the world. I wish you could relax with the xenophobia sometimes, we are heading toward a more globalized economy that's the fact...as long as it is a carefully monitored transition to filter out destructive or extremist agendas it should stabilize the world politically over time. don't worry you don't have to learn to speak Esperanto. 21. The problem is even though you made an effort to exaggerate the astronomical sum and made the whole post as ridiculous as possible....given what Washington has provided over the decades?........parts of it still sounded plausible! Do the Democrats like Frank tend to go a little wild with the spending...yes does it look like we are getting to be more socialist....yes why do I say this?...I live in sen.Bernie Sanders land. BUT- I think it has been established here that we are governed by a system which consists of a conglomeration of theoretical governmental philosophies and ideals, a mixture of democracy, republicanism, socialism....no one system can govern such a huge and complicated infrastructure. If you think about it relatively speaking, it's working very well, because on a scale ranging between complete satisfaction of all of the demographics and absolute anarchy, mayhem, and destruction, we are pretty stable as a nation and closer to the satisfaction end of the scale. in other words things are really not so bad considering what a massive population is being supported in such a relatively cushy environment. is this sustainable indefinitely....HELL NO- but for now life here is pretty damn good for the majority so just remember that when you go to the supermarket. Even the dissidents have it pretty good here. see I feel better already and I did not have to shoot at anything today. plus I just found out i got a nice rebate on my property taxes..... 22. well thanks for making me more angry about partisanship govt. for nothing... >Then Obamacles picked up the shovel and started burying us. -we won't see the results of these govt. programs for a few more months...... does this sound familiar? What you need is some more personal time at the range- after a few rotating drum clips full of cheap Russian AK ammo- trust me you'll feel better about the world.

  24. All butthole pleasuring aside, because I don't really care what politicians think about when they visit bathrooms. I do worry when any politician says "no matter what the cost..." be it a war, or any program for that matter. -WTF he definitely did not think that statement through, especially given that the dems are under pressure about spending. did he really say this? Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
