You know, the kind you are supposed to wear on your teeth for the rest of your life after orthodontic treatment. Just got one for my top teeth the other day, and realized I don't know many people who continue to wear their retainers many years following the removal of their braces. Do you still wear yours? 2 jumps at Skydive Houston. Three-way flyaround with WaltAppel and a new friend, Marian. Lost her helmet on opening and it was miraculously found at the edge of the runway. Another CReW attempt with Walt followed by one of our famous waaaaay off-field landings That's the second time I've landed at that house. You are definately more than welcome! It was really way too much fun. Do you know that when I drove home ice was falling from everything. Trees, cars and power lines. When I arrived home, my oak tree was shedding ice like I've never seen. When I became a dz.commer almost two years ago, I never imagined what it would hold for me. This past weekend, the weather was quite unjumpable, but that didn't stop several of us dz.commers from hanging out and having a fantastic time. As I was getting ready to meet Lindercles, WaltAppel and Sharimcm, I received a phone call from JENNR8R. She was thinking about booking a flight out to see me!!! So on Saturday, January 13, I spent the day hanging out in Austin, having a blast not jumping. Goofing off with Walt, Mike and Shari. Then I picked up JENNR8R in Austin that night and due to some very odd winter weather (for Texas that is), she got to stay three days longer than planned!!!

Jen and I finally had to say goodbye this morning. I'm so glad she got "trapped" in Texas for three extra days. I'm remembering a line from the theme of The Carol Burnette show.. My friend from VA (JENNR8R) came to see me on Saturday and she was only supposed to stay until Monday. I've tried twice to take her to the airport. The first time, her flight was cancelled but the roads were driveable. The second time, the roads were unnavigable, but her plane took off. I'm certainly not complaining
