I thought it was going to be "Never whine around Walt." or "stay out of Walt's bathtub." or something like that Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

I would have been happy to loan you my rig, but I'm glad you're all taken care of. Let us know how it goes and good luck. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28 -
3 waaay cool jumps!!! Including my 100th! It was so special and Thank you so much Ilya for the way you captured it on video. Thanks Walt, Lindercles, Jim, Zack, Wendy Faulkner, John, Mark Mark, Woody, Donny and Jason. It was great having you in the plane, LisaH, to share this milestone with me. Wish you could have come out and played with us, but at least you got to be there. What an awesome weekend! Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

***if it all goes horribly wrong. I need to keep up my red meat intake, being a student and all. Quote Hate to dissappoint you but it looks like Camo ix going to be sticking around with us. Anyway, you probably wouldn't have liked the taste of him. He's just too sweet! Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. He did make it through the night. This morning he was whining a lot and acting like he wanted to get up. So I got up with him and he almost ran down the hallway. Straight to the water he went.....and drank for what seemed like forever. When we laid down together after that, there was no more whining and his breathing was calm and steady. He's going back to the vet this morning but when I spoke with her, she was very pleased. It looks like he is going to pull through. The words relief and joy do not do justice to what I am feeling right now. Of course, I'm also extremely zombified. Thanks again guys, and I'll keep you all posted. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

I just gave my first shot ever. It went well, thanks to Walt. My puppy has been wimpering off and on since 12:45 and I couldn't give him the shot until 1:30. That's the longest 45 minutes of my life! My first labor (22 hrs.) was easier than that. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

Come to Salado this weekend and celebrate my 100th with me!

My dog was doing well all day and then at about 6:30 I received a call from the vet. She was concerned about my dog's breathing patterns and did not want to leave the dog alone for the night, because he probably won't make it. She suggested we take him back to the all night ER. I asked her what they would do for him there that we couldn't do for him at our home. The answer was NOTHING So we went and picked him up from the vet, equipped with an IV and pain medication. He could turn around and come out of this, but the chances of that are not good. He is beside me now in my bedroom and I am trying to stay calm so that he will. It is hard. I will be pulling an all nighter for sure. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

***He called me last night. He told me he'd only get better after we pie you this weekend. Quote Har -DEE- Har-Har In that case, pie away baby! (edited to get the quote/reply thing right so Lindercles won't be so brutal with the pieing) Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

Okay, Everybody please send good thoughts my way. At about 4:30 this morning, I awoke to my dog vomiting profusely. He then flopped over on his side and became non-responsive. He was breathing hard and would not even lift his head. We have already lost two dachshunds since we've moved here, so at that point I was close to having a stroke! Anyway, I thought we were going to lose him but we got him to the emergency clinic and they put him on some IV fluids and checked his blood. He was extremely dehydrated and if I had not awakened when I did, he would have died. So today he is continuing on the fluids and antibiotics and is responding. They don't know exactly what caused this. We've ruled out anti-freeze and a few other things, but I am just reeling. Even though this dog is technically my 8-year old son's, he bonded with me immediately. He can't stand it when he's not right there beside me and whines when I leave the house without him. I have *NEVER* had a dog do this with me. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

The guy definately gets an A for the creative award in the excuses department. That doesn't mean anyone is saying that the excuse makes what he did okay. I believe it's the outrageousness (if there is such a word) of it that rocks. I know Walt very well, and can promise that he in no way believes this guy is justified. 4 belly jumps. No CReW too dadgum cold. When Wendy Faulkner says it's too cold, its definately TOO COLD! Walt actually was forced to dust off his RW suit. Imagine that. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

***Not sure what that has to do with my questions Quote I suppose when you said "soul" I thought you meant as in the spiritual. The spirit is eternal, but our bodies aren't. I don't think of souls as being joined for eternity since there is no marriage in Heaven. In other words, we don't mate for eternity. That's just my own personal way of looking at it. It seems to me that is not what you are talking about. If it isn't, simply disregard my post. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

No, because marriage is til death do we part. I definately believe in chemistry though. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

Douva was my AFF instructor when I did my one and only AFF jump, and I scared him absolutely half to death! I'm convinced he retired because of me Anyway, it would mean so much having him on my 100th, so I'm trying to enlist some folks to help me get him to the dz. I do have handcuffs and chains (please don't ask) if you need them. Please, Brains, you and Jason and Alicia.....HELP!!
