    I have a dapple miniature dachshund named Camo, and he decided pretty quickly that he belongs to me....or rather...I belong to him. I can't sit or sleep anywhere in the house without him right next to me. When we are in bed, no one else can come around without him growling.     Laminent (sp?) floors for sure, at least in the high traffic areas. When we sold our house last year, it appalled me the amount of filth that came our of our carpets. We decided our next house would have mostly laminent/wood flooring. As luck would have it, our new home has just that!     I love the story The Night Before Christmas, but the real work seems to come AFTER Christmas. It takes me several weeks to recover. What would you all put in the story?
