    If you recall, it wasn't Cheney who reported it to the press. Nor do I think he has an obligation to report it himself. The story would come out anyways. Same in Canada when it comes to reporting of gunshot wounds. The timelines are odd, including the non-statement from his office. It leaves him open to speculation, which is what is happening. He could have done himself a favour.....

    I don't think there are stories all...the question was how he was treated differently from the common man. the 14 hours was the answer. then the question all of a sudden became, well how many common men have to make a press statement over a hunting accident....still trying to figure out what that has to do with the original question.

    Another 747 right over your head..... Since nobody cares about titles in here, I am now the President of The United States of America. I wonder whta would happen if I start making speeches or publishing books under that title. Or, starts wearing military outfits, including a green beret, with SF unit badges, calling myself a general. I wonder if people would still not care about titles. I wonder how some on these forums would feel if I started claiming I was a US marine...it is only a title, it really means nothing.

    my prediction is he will end up dying in ther hospital. At which point people will start to wonder why Cheney didn't talk to police for 14 hours. The article makes an interesting point...would "normal" people be given that same privelidge?

    Like all those stupid ranks in the military and all the saluting shit that comes with it. Silly designations like Marine, or SF or pilot. Fighting over the colour of a beret, now that is dick waving..... he has a Ph.D. doesn't he? So that would make Dr. Lott correct.
