What capitalism BECOMES is changed by the requirements and regulations put in place to regulate it And the economy has a big effect on a company and how many it may hire of lay off And what is really souring the economy (of both countries to varying degrees) is government regulation and interference. yeah.....ok. So, which government regulation is forcing Whole Foods to lay off staff? And regulations don't change capitalism. Regulations change the market the regulations pertain to. Lastly, there aren't many people who think a truly free market, devoid of any regulation would be beneficial to the economy.

How does that indicate that to you? You will have to explain. Capitalism is an economic and political system. There is a link by definition. A downturn or upturn in the economy doesn't change what capitalism is though.

Not at all, she is welcome to her views. However she was elected to do a job, her views play no part in that. (never mind the absurdity of having an election for that function) She can change her mind all she wants. If she wants to absolutely hate and despise gay people, that is her perogative. But, that is no excuse to not do her job. If she cannot reconcile her job duties with her personal beliefs, she has the option of finding another job.

Stupidity is not a disqualifying condition for gun ownership. It should be, but it isn't. Stupidity should be a disqualifying condition for a lot of things. But it isn't. What is really sad is that someone thinks a constitutional right should have some some way to weed out the dumb ones from having that right. What is stupid is a constitution with a specific amendment granting a specific right related to guns. It has created one of, if not the most violent society in a first world country.

he sounds like a good and successful CAPITALIST - and a big high strung AND - I suspect he demands better customer service from his employees since he's doing his best to be an 'employer of choice'. I very much doubt he expects to pay more for the same performance the competition is paying less for. BULLSHIT. Barring a severe uptick over the next few months, this year will end with fewer police deaths than we've seen in a long time. And while yes, 83 cops have died on duty this year, a large chunk of those were crashing their cars doing fuck knows what, having heart attacks, or otherwise things that are not the fault of others. Doesn't change what I said. Cops are being executed now. We haven't seen that s*** happening like it is now ever before. So keep your b******* Isn't that exactly how the 2nd Amendment is supposed to work. Police have been overstepping their bounds for a while. More agressive, killing the occassional innocent person etc. Society is rising up and fighting this tyrannical part of the government. You should be happy, it is working as it should.
