We are about to elect a snowboard instructor to become our next Prime Minister. His father was famous though. Fotunately he is nowhere as crazy as Trump and Carson, your front runners on the Republican side. Trump I'll credit with just doing this for his own benefit. Carson seems downright crazy, how can that guy be second in the polls?

The problem is they haven't been able to figure out how to pin it on Obama. Looks like the mistake was made in the military. IN the US you aren't supposed to say anything negative about people in uniform, it is not patriotic. So, until people figure out which political party they can blame it on, nothing is really said.

I am not sure how profits fit into this but wealth certainly does. It is the number one reason given by those trying to reach Germany. I think you are touching on some main difference here. Some will see teh refugees as fleeing danger, violence, war etc. in a hope of providing some safety and peace for their family. Some see them as purely economic refugees, looking to get "free" money.

They need to spin off the Tea Party people, let them form their own party and move on. If they don't the party will remain absolutely paralyzed.

So a pilar of your argument is to compare the U.S. to a hand full of countries where gun ownership is nonexistent or tightly controlled, but when showing where the U.S actually rates on the spectrum of violence and displaying that the amount of guns in a country has no correlation in crime rates whatsoever, it is merely dismissed. Ok. Whatever numbers support your argument then. Dude, Moldova is the European equivalent of Somalia.

It's so easy to spot, that one could, as an option, ignore the clear sarcasm and attempt at humor, and obtusely and robotically use it directly to set up strawmen, or issue veiled PAs or character jabs. I'm not saying that happens here, just that it's an option if one chooses. Insults are a lot more fun, anyway, than two way debate and discussion. You mean like you are doing right now.....

Murders, rapes, assaults causing serious bodily harm The problem you have is that previous ot this ban, people in the UK weren't quite free to walk around with a loaded firearm on them. So, you will have to explain by which mechanism the 1997 act would have led to this increase you state. If you think that prior to 1997 it was normal/easy for the British to walk around with concealed guns, you are somewhat mistaken.

This!we would have to get rid of a lot of the union influence for that to happen. You would have to deal with a lot of lobby groups yes...including unions. They won't be the only onees.
