  1. So; the Flores Consent Decree from 1997 (during Clinton's term) and related applicable immigration law passed by US Congress during whichever years, are regarded by you as equivalent to the executive orders of a Nazi dictator during the 1940's ? ...and consequently implying that government officials have the option to thumb their nose at such laws in much the same way as German officers should have ? Seriously ? They have the option of not separating the children from their parents as the default, non-negotiable, zero-tolerance policy. Flores actually says least intrusive to child. It is to protect the children and aim for least intrusive options. Hiding behind it as the reason all parents have to be criminally charged and therefor have the children taken away from them is unconscionable. Specially because the decision has been made specifically to make it painful for the parents, through the children, to: 1. supposedly deter. 2. Gain a better bargaining position.
  2. Those damn Chinese are smart playing a long con like that.
  3. No, it hasn't. Find a credible news source. Well, Mother Jones news just had an article out that said they were more kids in detention in 2014 and there are today! Over 12,000. You also have to realize that of the kids that are in detention today only two thousand of them, of the approximate 10,000 are from illegal border crossings. 12,000 with a parent, or by themselves? How many in 2014 arrived with their parents, or a parent and then separated? Details matter.
  4. They're not the only ones using kids. http://www.newsweek.com/caged-child-immigration-child-detention-center-trump-protest-viral-photo-983992 Trump's admin and the GOP are the only ones with the power to do something. I think people a higher burden belongs to those with the ability to affect change, specially if they are the ones changing policy exasperating the situation. So no, it is not the same. Comments like that trivialize the situation. Take some fucking responsibility. You live in a society where leadership has decided to force kids into cages to try and win a political battle. The best you can do is, but Obama? Sickening.
  5. This chart shows there has been a decline in wage growth in the last 20 years. it also shows that wage growth is trending down since Trump's inauguration. https://www.frbatlanta.org/chcs/wage-growth-tracker.aspx?panel=1 This page shows that manufacturing jobs have been slowly increasing in the US since the dramatic fall in 2008. It shows that manufacturing jobs are down long term, currently at a level equal to 1945. Manufacturing jobs started growing under Obama and that trend continued under Trump. https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MANEMP Neither trend really shows any drastic changes since Trump started. I think what we are seeing is a complete disconnect between what Breitbart is feeding you and reality.
  6. The GOP is using kids in cages as bargaining chips. Trump's administration is using kids in cages to try and get more funding for the wall Mexico was supposed to pay for. All you do is cheer him on.
  7. More like a good dose of moral relativity. "Well, it's moral when we do it." The funny joke of the day comes from a Border Patrol agent in a child detention center. Via an audio recording obtained by ProPublica: ========= The desperate sobbing of 10 Central American children, separated from their parents one day last week by immigration authorities at the border, makes for excruciating listening. Many of them sound like they’re crying so hard, they can barely breathe. They scream “Mami” and “Papá” over and over again, as if those are the only words they know. The baritone voice of a Border Patrol agent booms above the crying. “Well, we have an orchestra here,” he jokes. “What’s missing is a conductor.” ========= Get it? The sobbing kids are like an orchestra; each cry is a note. But it's all disorganized because they don't have a 'conductor.' Funny stuff. https://www.propublica.org/article/children-separated-from-parents-border-patrol-cbp-trump-immigration-policy?utm_campaign=sprout&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_content=1529351580 You keep trying don't you! Sad part is is the same shit been happening for decades and you didn't give a fuck until Trump was president in the media got all over it. But that's normal for the left, that's what they do! You guys got to keep it up though please! Because that's what's going to make a big difference in the upcoming election! So for that I'm going to say thank you now! No, the difference is that a change in policy, as delivered and verbalized by Jeff Session on May 7th made the situation quite a bit worse. That is what people are objecting to. Jeff sessions job is to enforce the law! You don't like the law, get Congress to change it! Or as left likes to do, they get people to just ignore the law you know, like they've done with Hillary, and the Border! Your story and your song falls on deaf ears for anybody that thinks. Those who feel act like you That comment has nothing to do with the Trump administration changing policy around how laws are being enforced and the implementation of a zero-tolerance policy. It is those changes and the consequences of those changes people are objecting to. It also indicates that things are not the same as you were claiming. (As a side note, you seem rather upset when the law is applied in the Mueller investigation. Those are just process crimes right?)

Thanks Obama!
  10. Is selective outrage when you really object to somebody lying, but then blindly support somebody who lies at an average of 5 lies a day?
  11. So are tariffs. Can't ignore it on one side and demand protection on the other side.
  12. Anne Coulter thinks they are child actors and by extension all fake.
  13. There is no requirement for Canada to honour American patents. Canada should just stop protecting the US pharmaceutical industry and stop US patent enforcement in Canada. Let's see how long Trump and the GOP will withstand the pharma lobby.
  14. Except that Trump was offered a GOP bill today to stop the separating of children from their parents and Trump refused to sign it. So, I know that won't mean anything to you, but for the more rational people around, it is hard to blame Obama now.
  15. Many are not. Which is why the IG report on leaks, specifically related to the NY FBI office is going to be very interesting.
  16. Considering how upset those same people were about: Mustard Fist bump Tan suit It is rather laughable.

There appears to be a lot more openness around research into medical use of illegal drugs, which I think is a good thing. Apparently MDMA can be useful in PTSD therapy.
  18. I think there's one thing that you need to clearly understand. And that is I could give a fuck less what you and all those around you think about me being right or not. So if you're trying to be funny, you failed! You and yours have demonstrable proved the you don't give a fuck what the truth is. You only have your political biases and you're going to live and die by them. And right now you're just barely treading water! All that said, I hope you have a very nice day! That still doesn't explain why you replied to my post twice with two different responses. You seem very agitated though.
  19. Are you aware of the IG investigation into NY FBI officers?
  20. Why are you replying to my post twice, with two different responses with decidedly different tones. Hedging your bets so that maybe you can be right once?
  21. Which was decidedly in favour of the Trump campaign. His insubordination was to help the Trump campaign.
  22. Didn't you tell us that you chemically rewired your brain some decades ago? Yeah but Jesus rewired it. After the requisite tithing of course.
  23. It is what the unbelieving jews claim.
  24. I think that sentence perfectly sums up the stance of the American right wing.
