I think Kim played it very well. He knows that Trump doesn't like to admit he was wrong. So he gives him all the promises, let's him take all the glory and gets all this extra time to accelerate his nuclear program. Any opposition for the US at this point would indicate Trump was wrong. trump would rather turn his back and pretend nothing is happening. Kim knows that as long as he doesn't fire off any rockets, the US will likely leave him alone. He also knows that this has likely greatly eroded the relationship between the US and SK. As it stands now, it looks like NK played the US for a fool. Let's see what Trump has up his sleeve.

I fully expect Trump to fully endorse Crimea as Russian and to legitimize the Russian invasion on July 16th after the meeting with Putin.

Ah yes Manafort, who owes a Russian $10,000,000 but worked for the Trump Campaign for free. Let's see what Manafort's campaign manager resume looks like, prior ot getting this job: * Getting a Russian backed person elected in Ukraine. How did he accomplish that you ask, well: 1. Spreading fake news and spreading anti-immigrant hatred. 2. Paying people to incite violence at rallies. That doesn't sound familiar at all. Then the Ukraine wanted Manafort extradited. But Trump ended that by selling them some missiles. But, nothing is connected. So either Trump is a really fucking stupid and didn't know any of this, or hired him anyways. Which one is it marc?

You was wrong as usual.

What I got from that is: the so called main stream media is all lies, but guys like Sean Hannity and networks like Fox News are all truth. You guys are getting gaslighted. Facts simply have no effect, it is all about the feels. That attitude isn't going to end well. The Dictator of North Korea, the leader of Russia, the murderer in charge of the Philippines all honourable, upstanding people. But, the press, they are the enemy of the people. NRA puts out videos telling the NYT they are coming for them. Milo puts out comments that journalists need to be killed. All behaviour that is applauded by Republicans.
-
You know, Dan. I think its more a matter of the media attacks on him. What about Republicans asking for violence against journalists. Is that part of attacks on the media? How about people leaving Fox because they are turning into a propaganda machine for Trump? How about Alex Jones inciting violence against a pizza place? How about Sean Hannity spreading lie after lie? All of that gets waved away, as if it is equal to the NYT making a mistake and publishing a correction. Every step is a little worse, every step a little further. None enough to really get outraged about.
-
Because republicans keep asking for violence, lately specifically against journalists. "Each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow."

Ha, I just happened to have run across this. Now we know that it was a Russia influence effort that was fanning the flaming on both sides. Nah, that was just a Deep State plant. It was really Soros. Putin is a really nice man. Just ask him. He even said that he didn't do it, I mean somebody of that stature wouldn't lie.

I think OP was speaking about the specific use of 88. 88 has a specific meaning for those familiar with nazi sympathizers. Just like 81 has a specific meaning for those following motorcycle clubs.

Annual increase of GDP since inauguration is 2.3%. The Paris Climate Agreement didn't have any mandatory regulations. I won't go through the rest of the list. The real trumpians couldn't be bothered by facts anyways.

Yeah exercising free speech on government owned property should definitely be criminal. I've come to understand that those of you on the left condone criminal activity when it suits your purposes. Trespassing is a misdemeanor, just like adultery. Guess who committed adultery? How come you don't call trump a criminal? Doesn't suit your purpose?

iceagenow.com is an expert. NASA is a farce. buildshitright.com will soon be the expert on low cost bridge building in the US. -
That is because there is not a single fucking Sikh who is a Muslim. Typical ignorance. Islam is an Abrahamic Religion like your Christianity. Sikhism is a Dharmic Religio like Hinduism and Buddhism. An arrogant lib...what a surprise. Yup, god forbid people would strive for some knowledge. Better to be ignorant. I will give you this, most Sikhs look brown, so that is pretty much equivalent to Muslim for Republicans.

No it wouldn't. Not smart people sometimes have smart reasoning. Seeking understanding is indeed laudable. In my case, I have now seen so many Trump supporters be completely opposed to facts that reasoning really doesn't matter anymore. I'll give you an example. I know a strong and proud Trump supporter who often posts clearly photoshopped pictures as "evidence" she bases her opinions on. This person will never admit a picture is fake. At that point any reasoning doesn't matter anymore.
-
You seem to presume that smart people would have smart reasons for something. That correlation is faulty.

John Bolton did a complete 180 after meeting Putin. This is the guy who called Russian interference in the election an act of war. He said that any policy based on trusting Russia was doomed to failure. Now after meeting Putin he has completely changed his stance. When asked by a reporter why he had changed his opinion so much he said he was not going to address the discrepancy.

Justice Anthony Kennedy to retire from Supreme Court
SkyDekker replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
So to combat that you support the one guy who really does very little else but boast about how much money he has and how popular he is? That makes sense. -

Using R logic, the nomination should be halted until the people have spoken in an election. -
Manafort had a $10 million loan with Oleg Deripaska. Kind of weird, because everybody involved kept saying that nobody had any connections with Russians. And they couldn't be lying, only the media lies.
-
well those are strong counterpoints. Hard to dispute any of that. /s
-
Had never heard of that one until now, looks like it's being dredged up as a counter to this instance. I'll say the difference there was that it was for a political photo op and the owner didn't want that at his store because of his political opinion. Don't think that was much of a big deal. Biden also didn't act like a little bitch about it. And I don't think too many Democrats came out to demonstrate and throw shit at the restaurant like Republicans are doing to this restaurant. The re-action to this, the visceral hatred is going to tear your country apart.
-
Maybe, but you've had all evening and half the morning to mull things over and think up that zinger. They were working in real time Oh, definitely. But I also grew up in the DC area and don't see what the big deal is with running into a politician and interacting with them without referencing their politics. So what about the cookie guy refusing Biden. I'll have to go back and read about your contempt on that one
