Not only that, but she was granted an "Einstein" Visa to get into the US. Notably after likely being in the US illegally. Trump was supposed to hold a press conference and clear this all up "in two weeks" about 6 months ago.

On top of that, she went to a facility that has been around for years and mostly houses unaccompanied minors. In other words, a facility that really had nothing to do with the current situation.

What do you mean? He's not an elected office-holder. He's not running for anything. What 'backlash' does he fear? And what is he covering his ass for (or from)? Yeah comments like this from airdvr and other comments from people like rush, ron, nohlhart show that many of the right have abandoned any form of critical thinking. Everything that is contrary to their predetermined opinions, which they maintain are facts, is immediately discarded. Truth and facts have absolutely no impact on them. People are proud to be stupid, it means they are not part of the elite.

How many of those school shooters have been recent immigrants, illegal immigrants or the immediate offspring of those? It is indeed getting pretty bizarre when all crime is blamed on immigrants. Gee, I wonder where I have seen that before, blame all the country's ills on a single, identifiable group. What has that got to do with it? I'm saying we have the same conditions here, not that the immigrants brought them. Ah ok, may mistake, I misunderstood. Apologies.

If they are brown or black you ensure there is a zero-tolerance policy and prosecute to the maximum possible. If they are white, you ask for common sense and demand leniency based on various grounds. I am sure they didn't really mean to and it was just an accident.

Improper entry is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine and or up to 6 months in jail And the subsequent or second entry is a felony. And fucking around on your wife is a misdemeanor in New York State. Impeachment is for High Crimes and misdemeanors. Zero-tolerance, the law is the law! You can support that right Marc? You believe in law and order and stringent adherence to the law. Zero tolerance is the law. Trump is upholding a 1997 Supreme Court supported law. I don't agree with his executive order which will eventually be overturned in court anyway. As for the kids and the families well I'm glad for them. As usual you don't answer the question. Secondly, zero-tolerance is not a law, it is a policy.

Meaningless claptrap and gobbledygook. Along with David R Hawkins, MD, PhD; I also recommend Joseph Campbell for your edification. Hawkins was certainly an interesting fellow. His earlier work was impeccable. His later work started to get bizarre, with him presenting highly speculative theories as facts. Generally based in kineseology, a study with theories never verified in double-blind studies. His books contain things like "desynchronization of the cerebral hemispheres", presenting it as something actually recognized by medical professionals, or even documented. So yes, the work you are likely referring to is indeed meaningless claptrap and gobbledygook. Just because there are letters behind his name doesn't mean everything he says is true. You do the same with anybody who is "special forces", you swallow what they say without any level of critical thinking.

The IG reports were released last week, so they wouldn't magically state something different yesterday. If you had read the report, as opposed to letting other people tell you what is in it, you would have noticed the report doesn't say that. But the IG did testify to that fact. No he didn't. The president today explained why he is so upset with Canadian Tariffs. Apparently it causes us to go and buy American products. Clearly that should be ended. "The tariffs to get common items back into Canada are so high that they have to smuggle them in. They buy shoes, then they wear them. They scuff them up. They make them sound old or look old... We can no longer be the stupid country. We want to be the smart country.” Next thing you know, we eat American food and stay in American hotels when we are in the US. I understand the outrage.
