I think there should be different standards for a product primarily designed to kill efficiently and a product designed to transport people and product efficiently. Driving a truck into a crowd is not the intended use or purpose of a truck. Should a truck be in an accident and doesn't offer the expected safety standards, then indeed lawsuits follow. Generally resulting in safer design and improved technology to lower the risk of deadly consequences.

It is stunning that a live round would ever be chambered in a class on gun safety. Inert plastic rounds are used and available for such instruction. What the hell do estimates and projections have to do with reviewing actual results? Guess you don't understand the difference, that would actually make sense. But you still haven't answered why you used political ideology to try and prove your point that Trump is more patriotic than Obama when you think patriotism isn't subjective. IF this is about Tillerson speaking up against Russia on his own this is very justified. I don't necessarily agree with it but diplomats cannot announce our foreign policy without putting it through the President. Agreed, speaking ill of the boss' boss will have consequences.

And I should add that UK is apparently going around indicating they might invoke Article 5. If they do, which I find unlikely, the US under Trump would definitely reject that. This would lead to the end of NATO, something Russia would be very happy with. -

Contrast that with Bill Clinton saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" yet there he was in the oval office, no less, getting a blow job from Monica Lewinsky. Sure it's just a blow job but that sounds worse than what that politician did to resign over. Fucking Clintons, you just can't trust those motherfuckers. Hillary has railroaded every woman that filed a complaint against Bill. It's why I refused to vote for her. LMAO, I am sure that's the reason.

At least that is how I read it. Secondly, you are disputing a 2017 research paper with a summary put together in 2000. Do you think about anything before you post it? Review it a bit?

Not compared to other cause of death statistics. Derek V And also not a big deal compared to world famine. On the other hand, a mass shooting a day is not rare. I am happy I live in a society where mass shootings are rare....not once a day "rare".

Derek V Considering the threat is titled: Minimum age to buy firearms, it would be odd to discuss ways to prevent drowning deaths in backyard pools. Hence, claiming that in a topic specific thread not enough concern is given to other ways one can die, and therefor there is no reason to discuss death by bullet, is beyond asinine.

How about studying it without preset qualifications? Surprised to hear a scientist call for a study with preconceived ideas where the solution should fall.

As of March 4th, for the year 52 mass shootings, defined as at least 4 injured and/or killed, resulting in 179 wounded and 100 dead. I wouldn't call roughly 1 a day as something rare. If something happens every day or even every other day, then that is pretty frequent.
