Sure he has. So if last week(the past) someone worked for Wachovia and Wachovia decided not to pay them , they should just forget it? What's done is done? Bad comparison. If my Great, Great Great Grandfather got ripped off by an English Land Baron 200 years ago, I think you would find it rather ridiculous for me to try and collect the money now. _________________________________________________ Oh , you said it poorly but what you are really trying to convey is a statute of limitations. That doesn't apply to reperations for slavery. I'm sure you understand the legal reasoning. Blues, Cliff

QuoteWar Powers Resolution of 1973 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Public Law 93-148 93rd Congress, H. J. Res. 542 November 7, 1973 __________________________________________________ Well looky here ,Marty! We got us a full fledged card carrying too much information poster! All he had to add to the discussion to back our point was this one line out of all that text; "C) the estimated scope and duration of the hostilities or involvement. " But Bush hasn't complied with that portion of the rule , has he? Has he given us any "estimated duration"? So the president is in violation of the rule, isn't he. Next. Blues, Cliff

Today congressman John Conyers delivered to the White House (through the closed gates) a petition signed by over 500,000 Americans ,seeking clarification of the road to war and especially whether or not Bush and Co, had decided to go to war against Iraq as early as 2002. Later in a news conference ,White House spokesperson Scott McClellan, looked like a deer in the headlights. Fire the Liars! 1700 American soldiers are dead today due to an unconstitutional war. This is hilarious!! The importation of slaves was outlawed in the US in like 1805 or something. Of course Ron couldn't produce anyone. __________________________________________________ That is hilarious! Thank you! He can't produce any proof , not even one person who accuses "Gods' Chosen", Melenek II of slave mongering, yet he has jumped on the band wagon claiming that the "Most Wise " Melenek II held slaves or profited from slavery. The Great and Mighty Conquering Lion of Judah" needed no slaves. His own people, knowing that his bloodline was Divine , were quick to react to his every need and command. Melenek II ,with the wisdom of Soloman and the superior physical attributes of the African male , crushed the Deigo imperialists quicker than a Dominoes delivery boy could get a pizza to your house! __________________________________________________ Do you think Ron knows everyone in the world and everyone's story and can just call someone up at will? __________________________________________________ What I think ,my freind , is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. What is of the utmost importance is that the name of the "Great and Mighty" Melenek II not be besmirched by those with no proof! Again, please produce just one!!! Just one person who has a grief with Melenek II before you allow this verbal diareah to run from your mouth. Blues, Cliff Blues

Oh, he HAD them, and we had proof he never complied with the UN resolution for disclosure....But please, don't let facts effect your judgement. _________________________________________________ You seem to forget that Saddam sent an 11000 page report to the UN detailing Iraqs' compliance .The US took the report and removed 8000 pages before resubmitting it. Yes , over 70% of the report which showed Iraqui compliance was HIJACKED!!!! And you tell us that "he never complied with the UN resolution for disclosure"? Where are the missing pages ,Ron? Why are they missing? Could it be that they would have contradicted the case for war? Blues, Cliff

That sure is altruistic of us to spend that kind of money on other needy people, when we could be selfish and keep it for ourselves... __________________________________________________ What money ,Guy? Where is it coming from? The US can't even pay it's own debts! Do you think it sound fudicial policiy for a pauper to be playing Santa Clause? Blues, Cliff -
In the great countries of Africa that never had the white man owning slaves, what great proucts or companies have evolved in the last 1000 years? __________________________________________________ Don't know/don't care ,my friend, I'm an American . __________________________________________________ "great and mighty Melenek II "Conquering Lion of Judah" and "Elect of God". Yeah, great and mighty. What an ego. A todays world comparison would have Melenek asking if you want a spoon straw with your Slurpee. _________________________________________________ You seem to be confused, friend. Melenek II ,"King of Kings of Ethiopia " was a great warrior and ruler with wisdom inherited from Soloman. He wasn't a dot-head. Blues, Cliff

[replyCan you name even one person who is making any claim against "The Supreme , The blood of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba , Menelek II"? Here we go again....You make a claim, it is proven to be BS. __________________________________________________ What proof? Show us all "proof" ,Ron. __________________________________________________ Then you just choose not to listen to it and claim it is just lies. __________________________________________________ Look . I said that if any legitimate claim is made against the estate of Melenek II ,"The Blood of Soloman", than that claim should be paid. So can you produce even one person who has made a legitimate claim against Melenik II ? Just one?????? Just one???????????? C'mon!! Just one!!!!!! But I'm lyin'? Bring on the *proof* ,Ron, and not some crap journalism after the imperialistic Wops got their ass kicked by the brave and mighty warriors of Ethiopia. Blues, Cliff

Again, this shows your ancestors profiting from the slave trade and allowing it within its borders. As I see it he was using the slave trade to finance his wars. So what are your reactions to this? __________________________________________________ Yes , around the dinner table I also heard of the smear campaign the Italians directed toward the great and mighty Melenek II "Conquering Lion of Judah" and "Elect of God". Look , the Wops got their ass kicked and went back to the European press(which Gods' Emperor had no access to) and made up some stuff to cut him down . As I've stated , If any legitimate claims against the estate of Menelek II are made, I believe that estate should compensate fully. Can you name even one person who is making any claim against "The Supreme , The blood of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba , Menelek II"? Blues, Cliff

You have PROOF, or are you just speading lies? Like I said before, if you have PROOF, present it. Otherwise, if you have no proof, consider yourself just like you accuse him of being. __________________________________________________ Look Ron, I'm just posting to an internet site but you want "proof". Funny that when George wages WAR and is the instrumental force behind the death of thousands , you don't need any "proof". There was no "proof" that Saddam had any Weapons of Mass Destruction. There couldn't have been because he simply didn't have them. Yet we went to war! There was no "proof" that Saddam had ties to Al-Queida. There couldn't have been ,because there were none. Yet we went to war. There was no "proof" that Saddam was any threat to the US or even any of his neighbors. There couldn't have been ,because he wasn't. Yet we went to war. So you want proof from me about my claims on the internet, yet you don't require proof from the president who is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths and many more crippled , maimed, and psychologicaly deranged. Dead, maimed, and psychologicaly deranged. Show me some "proof" that the war was necessary. Show me "proof" that Saddam was a threat to his neighbors and the US. Blues, Cliff

__________________________________________________ So you think Bush is *wise* for starting a war based on Israeli lies? I'll admit he isn't very smart. Will you admit he was duped into this war by people with an Israeli agenda? Or was he forced into war by the Israeli threat of outing him (Gannon/Guckhert)? Blues, Cliff

In the News: Brutal Deaths of Iraqii Civilians
eaglenrider replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
America:The United States already is the global leader in aid to Africa - sending about $6.2 billion there annually. Hey John, As the United States is for all intents and purposes *bankrupt*and considering the poor hungry ,and sick in our own country , do you really believe that Bush sending $6.2 billion a year to Africa is a "good" thing? Where is the money coming from? Blues, Cliff -
[reply What about the Feith memo? It said that Iraq had ties to Al Queda AND that Iraq had WMD's....Do you discount that memo but hold this one in high reguard? Being that Feith resigned as the Israeli espionage investigfation was nipping at his ass, Yes, I discount his memo. Blues, Cliff

__________________________________________________ My great great grandmother was never a *slave holder* and never traded in or profited from the slave trade. As for Menekick II ,"Conquering Lion of Judah" ,I'm not so sure he was involved in the slave trade either . I'm sure you are aware ,by the time he took his rightful crown as a direct descendant of King Soloman and The Queen of Sheba, the slave trade (at least to the western world) was all but over. So to answer your question, I have no doubt that no party could rightfully claim reperations for slavery against my great great grandmothers' estate. If anyone has a claim against Melenik II,King of Kings of Eithiopia, I would expect them to be paid full and fair compensation. Any other queastions? Blues, Cliff

Kofi Annan allegedly not telling the whole truth
eaglenrider replied to storm1977's topic in Speakers Corner
Don't be fooled by this "Kofi Annan" side track to the oil for food program scandal. The fact is that the Clintons had a large hand in setting up the entire "oil for food" and used it to gain political leverage. They made sure that many of our own senators and congressmen got "a piece of the pie" and are holding that over their heads. Did it seem strange to you that only two members of the Senate commitee showed up when George Galloway was set to appear. They knew he had the goods on them and their part in oil for food and that he was willing to call them on it. " Senator, this is the mother of all smokescreens. You are trying to divert attention from the crimes that you supported, from the theft of billions of dollars of Iraq's wealth. Have a look at the real Oil-for-Food scandal. " -GG See, what's going to happen is that Kofi is out and Bill Clinton will be taking his seat. That's what is going on here. Blues, Cliff -

I'm very hapy to be part of the Army and that I excercise my duty to defend this nation with actions and not words. Have you ever considered "intelligent" actions? How about "Constitutional " actions? Didn't you take a pledge to defend the Constitution? Are you in Iraq? Blues, Cliff -

As for lying to Congress, didn't happen. __________________________________________________ Do you mean to say that Pres.Bush didn't stand before Congress and the american people and tell stories about centrifuges, yellow cake, al-queida ties to Iraq, mobile biological labs, etc, etc, etc? Or are you saying that none of those were lies? Again, I understand how hard it is for those of you who have been so vocal in your support of Bush and the war for so long to realize that you were completely wrong. It's hard to imagine ,and completely unforgivable for a President to LIE the people into a war . I know you feel like if you admit the Truth now you will have egg on your face. Don't worry ,my freind, there were many like you who were duped by these professional liars. No reason for shame. I will dip my handkerchief in the blood of the dead and injured soldiers and wipe that egg off your face. If you wait much longer to hold the administration accountable I will be able to dunk you in the *pool* of blood to reclaim your innocense and get that egg off your face. Your call. Blues, Cliff

If signed documentation existed proving who owed who what then yes i would agree. Otherwise there are just to many unknowns to hold anybody liable. __________________________________________________ Signed documentation isn't going to happen here but we all know that blacks were held as slaves and worked for no compensation. If any progeny of a slave could document their family tree back to a slave that was working on a certain plantation or farm, would you support the progeny of that slave in a compensation lawsuit against those who profited from the slaves labor? [Honestly bud, some of your arguments actually got me thinking. This post totally swayed me from thinking that you are sincere in your thoughts. Some of the statements in this particular post are just ridiculous Ok , You caught me , My great great grandmother wasn't the cousin of the King of Sheba, that was rediculous, she was his sister. So which of my comments "got you thinking"? Blues, Cliff

Quote Then I was told that yes slavery was wrong but there was no reason for the decendants of slaves to inherit the monies long past due. Once again, why should somebody receive monies from something that happened generations ago? Why do they personally deserve it? __________________________________________________ Tell me this Bud, If Wachovia had extended credit to your grandfather, and he died before he paid it back, would you agree that your grandfathers' estate owed Wachovia the balance of the account?
