That's not so strange...Willie's latest album is reggae!

Wow. I figured you would have read that one back when it was still new, before its classic status.

They sure prevented that. Not every fatality goes down the way the 'official report" says. I can think of one high profile fatality in which the eyewitness I spoke to had a completely different version of events immediately prior to impact. Not being there, I don't know which version of the accident was true (so please don't ask for more details), but I know they couldn't have both happened. Point is, when all the eyewitnesses wait to offer details until they get their story straight, it makes for poor appearances, even if the intentions are good. -
We'll forgive you...since you are a teacher!

About a week ago, I saw a few minutes of Martha stewart on Larry King Live. Someone called in and asked her when she thought would be a good time to purchase stock in her company! For Great Deals on Gear

I think it is the medias way of informing the public of facts. If those facts shift public opinion, that is not the fault of the media. That is the fault of an administration trying to sell an unjustified war to the public. I do not feel that, in light of the First Amendment, the government has the authority to tell the media that bodies or coffins should not be shown, nor that the death count should not be reported. In fact, IMO they should also be reporting the number of civilian casualties, since the latest reason excuse for the war is to help the Iraqi people by bringing them American values and Democracy.

Have you thought about just welding a piece of sheet metal over the hole? That would teach that damn sunroof to mock you!

I walk a lot, and often I will walk late at night because it is not as busy and loud.

I believe this has more to do with their job performance, and not bias of the media. I was referring to things like this: It makes me wonder how those who do not feel it is important to have a free press or to have the right to speak out against the government justify their beliefs.

my problem with skydivingmovies.com.... any help?
tso-d_chris replied to JeepDiver's topic in The Bonfire
That works adequately for downloadable files, but if they are not downloadable, WMV files are not supported. Is there a trick I'm missing? My browser is Shiira, but it is based on and renders pages like Safari. -
I misunderstood your post. I thought you were implying that Speakers Corner had previous posts. Lot's of BS in the media. Isolating a single example is kind of misleading.

Just going by what the Guinness rep told me, when I asked him what the difference was. I guess he could have been lying, but I doubt it.

Nice post.

Do you have any reason to believe that, or is it just your personal favorite? I found this Annenberg survey to be interesting. The journalists' questions and responses can be found here, and the publics questions and responses can be found here. Some of the finds are pretty disturbing.

The difference between Guinness Stout (tap, can, bottle w/ widget) and Guinness Extra Stout (bottle w/o widget) is nitrogen. The Stout has nitrogen in the widget, and the Extra Stout does not.

Sorry. FOX is no more "fair and balanced" than CNN or NBC or CBS or... Fair and balanced media is hard to find these days. The only real option anyone has is to take in many sources, so that one can get a complete idea of thee facts hidden within all the editorializing. For Great Deals on Gear

Perhaps you should consider living in a country who's government works the way you want it to. Here in America, rights cannot be created.

I agree; it is unfair to cap one so much higher than the other, especially since not everyone has the option of a 401k.
