  1. Talk about a lose-lose situation. On one side we have a group of flaming assholes. On the other, we have vigilanties using threats of physical harm to teach 'respect' (can you say shades of KKK?). I'd like to stop both groups through legal means. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  2. Is this guy your ex? Pardon me for asking, but I generally don't see this kind of resentment outside of realationships gone bad. Hey, whatever. Apparently people have wrapped themselves in moral indignation and feel they must slay the beast for civilization to continue. Ban him, shoot him, castrate him, whatever. It still seems to me like silly school yard bickering to me. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  3. Seems to me it's just kiddies on the playground defending those in their 'in' group. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  4. That still does not change how the police are doing their job and attacking them will not help anyone, but make matters worse. I have known Bill and Gus for almost 10 years. I don't think either was stupid. But accident aside calling the police "Stupid" while claiming they were out to get someone, will not make this situation or the relationship between skydivers and the city better. We have some people on here who think "Prop wash" is a cleaner for propellers and who think "Legal briefs" are what judges wear under their pants making comments about flying and law. They are doing it to defend Bill. Its a normal reaction. But attacking the police is just going to make things worse. Your points are measured and balanced. Unfortunately, there is a bit of blind loyalty going on here that prevents some from seeing them and view anything other than a solid defence of Bill as being against him. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  5. I don't follow bonfire much. Is all this still going on because this guy offended the Deland clique with the dog joke???? ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  6. then the disclaimer applies as all power-capable organizations will trend to 'generalized' corruption and singling out a single one is pointless - we're all cynical about large organinzations in general this would only apply then if an organization purposely TRAINS all incoming members to be KNOWINGLY deceitful. Not even the DFL or GOP does that yet. And the bigger an org is, the harder that goal would be to attain. I doubt an org could do it over a very small size (like in the tens) and then it would be about the individuals, not the org. individuals take actions and do things Hmmm, OK. There are undoubetly good people involved who will do good work but there is no doubt that they are in the third world countries to gather the gold at the order of the church which has been operating in the red for several years as traditional sources of income continue to decline. South America with it strong familial/catholic history is viewed as the financial savior of the church. After all, half the world's one billion Roman Catholics live in Latin America alone, and the church is seeing explosive growth in Africa and Asia. The church takes the money but you have to wonder why, if most of the world's Roman Catholics live in the developing world, why has every pope been European? Are the workers TRAINED to be deceitful? Nope, thats for car salespeople. The church has much better and more cost effective techniques, they mind fuck them from birth. They grow the true believers and use them ...cheaply. That's why the church is by far the richest (tax free!!) organization in the world. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,74563,00.html http://www.cwnews.com/news/viewstory.cfm?recnum=23424 http://www.cwnews.com/news/viewstory.cfm?recnum=30675 http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/pope/2002230105_thirdworldpope04.html ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  7. Your regular 'organised' church doesn't prey on the sick. Your regular 'organised' church's ministers or pastors are not multi-millionaires, flying around in jets and living in mansions, all paid for by their 'victims' whom these con-artists have fleeced. Christianity is increasing in numbers pretty much only in thirld world countries, primarily due to the catholic church turning to south america, china, southeast asia and especially africa to pan for gold among the sick, the illiterate, the poor and the desperate. South America has been proclaimed the savior of the catholic church as the number of catholics and more importantly donations in the US continue to decline. The only other significant increase in numbers of christians is with the more fundamentalist, dogmatic churches in the US recruiting dirt poor, uneducated americans and fleecing what little money they do have. Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  8. Ever personally see somebody dead or mutilated from fightng to protect that symbol of freedom which represents our ideals and way of life here in America? No, but I once saw a homeless guy repeatedly run head first into a concrete wall for a dollar a shot. Now if you want to talk about true patriots, who are willing to put their lives on the line to protect my right to engage in legal protest, he or she has my utmost admiration and respect. If not ...well, here's a dollar. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  9. That's the sort of statement I'd expect from someone who's never made personal sacrifice in it's defense. It's more than "just a bit of cloth." It "represents" MUCH more than that. Whereas I think people who go apeshit about the burning of a symbol have somehow lost sight of what the symbol represents. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  10. I think people should answer any way they damn well choose ...and yes, I would volunteer if I felt my country needed me to fight. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  11. Good idea, thanks. But I'll also need other woman's input for starting threads there and getting feedback. Maybe someone with just as good of ideas What, you don't want to share your experiences with buying hundreds of wonderful, incredible shoes!? ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  12. Bubba and Jed were riding in a wagon pulled by a mule. The mule just up and stopped so Bubba began to use the whip. Jed was shocked by this behavior and told the Bubba that you have to treat the mule kindly, to speak to him softly and caringly to bring him around to pulling the wagon again. Bubba says, OK, give it a shot so Jed gets out, picks up a 2x4 and smacks the mule across the forehead. Bubba jumps up and says, I though you had to treat him kindly. Yep, Jed says, but first you have to get his attention. Sometimes, burning a flag might do just that. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  13. Didn't get to play, but watched others play at EB yesterday. For $400, also not impressed. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  14. Agreed. The whole idea of a special forum for women is silly. Why not have a forum where the 'bar' is higher for discussion and eliminate the princess forum? It's existence is a throwback to an era who's time has passed. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  15. You kidding?reply] No, he's from texas. So, you *don't* have hard proof.... just rhetoric and innuendo... Hehe, god bless you honey, you are indeed a texan. Pass, thanks. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

  17. Amplify, please - unless this is just a regurgitation of the liberal mantra. There's not been a war yet that has MADE money for the U.S. Surely! While one must go outside of the history books (approved where?? :) used in our public schools, individuals in power, and corporations have ALWAYS made enormous profits from wars ...and will make enormous profits from the current one also. Here's a link to an article entitled: "War is a Racket" written by Major General Smedley D. Butler, USMC (Ret): http://lexrex.com/enlightened/articles/warisaracket.htm So, are we, as Americans, profiting? Not a bit of it. Our leaders however ... To bring it closer to home, let's talk about the Bush family profits. Since the 1930's, what we have seen is a familiar-dynastic progression of "leaders" who have done all they can to promote and further warfare - with the intention of generating supra-profits and accompanying influence and power for those close to the Bush family. Like I said, follow the money. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

  19. Absolutely! A nice raspberry pie would go good about now. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  20. I agree that women have been supressed in enjoyment of our sexuality and I appreciate your willingness to share, but 'short end of the stick'??? Hmmm, as I float through a dozen or so beautiful, mind expanding orgasms in an hour, I don't feel so short changed.
  21. dunno. She was just snapping her finger and shufflin her feet ... ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  22. Your wife is watching you type this, isn't she? That woman is hot!!!!! ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  23. Try exploring vaginal orgasms. In my experience, more satisfying and pretty much an endless supply of orgasms with minimal soreness (assuming you kegel). ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
  24. The recent CNN incident where they flashed a big X on screen during Cheney's speech would be just a funny joke, right? Nah, no bias there. Is everything a dicotomy for you? Of course all businesses make decisions to max their profit. We just happened to be talking about this one. Of course that might deny you occasional expression of your ardent desire to scream 'liberal bias' and 'democrat' on occasion. I was just thinking the same thing. OMG!!! You actually did go with the 'I know you are but what am I?" response. Sheeeeit! ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
