  1. well when names are added to a petition they are required to actually be ALIVE...unless youre running for office in Chicago I may be totally wrong but I think that constitutes fraud
  2. were those names added to petitions and protest signs as if their families actually were consulted? The Vietnam Memorial was done with the consent of surviving family members (history channel) they are the ones who added those names to the list
  3. Hi everyone let me start off by saying yes she has the right to protest.... I will also say her story has more holes in it than a japanese tuna net... 1. she claims a kurdish woman told her she was punched in the stomach...any charges or a press conference? a police report? 2. I highlighted in bold type some very suspicious statements...maybe you can see what I am talking about! 3. If she were assualted by a platoon of NYPD and assaulted by the cops who dragged her by her arm where are her injuries and where was all the camera footage that the media would have gotten?... 4. Looking into filing charges...hmmmm ever hear of falsifying a police report with a great many witnesses? Look I know people are sympathetic to her but I will bet that she has lied her ass off once again... I would enjoy seeing her state all this under oath in a court of law... then watch closely as she is proven to be a perjuror, and then charged with the serious offenses she has committed.
  4. oh no worries I understood you...it's just that someone shot these two animals no where near a house BTW in Florida if those two endangered species weren't relocated by the fish and game wardens I bet there was a good reason...like nobody was actually in danger
  5. what about using dead servicemens names without the express written consent of their next of kin? That was actually done!...sad huh?...and possibly illegal
  6. So you would kill them for merely being within a few miles of your house? even when you CHOOSE to live next to a REFUGE? commiting federal offenses seems to be taken so lightly Hey don't get me wrong I would also if someone or some pet were actually attacked but that's not the story here

  8. Isn't there a picture of a current VP shaking the hand of a not so current dictator somewhere? I couldn't find that one. Will this one do? well that is Wild Bill Clinton
  9. I'm not a tofu eating PETA member or anything, but I don't think it is right to kill animals because you built a house in their habitat. Poisonous or not, no animal deserves to be killed for simply existing. If an alligator has your leg in its mouth or a poisonous snake is doing it's best rendition of the white rabbit from Monty Python's Holy Grail, then by all means kill the damn thing. If it's just chillin in the water or in your yard leave it alone or call a game warden. My neighbor as a kid killed an Indigo snake, said he thought it was a rattlesnake... Little did he know that carries a $2000 fine. The irony of the whole thing is that indigo's eat other poisonous snakes. Not to mention an indigo looks absolutely nothing like a rattlesnake, never mind it doesn't have a rattle. I eat two pound burgers, I am definately not some vegitarian. I think PETA goes to far, which is unfortunate because I think they bring up issues that I strongly believe should be addressed. When they go overboard, people tend to dissmiss their entire message. I am not sure what exactly my position is on alligators, I certainly am not for any pointless killing. But they do pose a threat, not as much to people as to other animals, for instance dogs. If there was any doubt in my mind as to whether or not an alligator near my house would kill my dogs, I probably wouldn't hesitate to shoot the alligator. , Yes but we are discussing American Crocodiles which only numer near 1000 in the entire world... I am definately not a PETA member, but I do have my own beliefs about such things... don't kill any animal unless you are going to eat it(or vermin), and if it isn't endangered...just let them go away, or get your animals away from it
  10. well at least you know the truth...sorry if it ruined your day
  11. No not at all but if you consider the FACT that animal abusers are most likely to abuse humans you may want to be aware...besides I HATE animal abusers...
  12. Two Endangered American Crocodiles Killed By BRIAN SKOLOFF, Associated Press Writer Tue Mar 7, 4:42 PM Two endangered American crocodiles, once considered among the most imperiled species in the United States, were found shot to death near Key West, authorities said Tuesday. Both crocodiles, a 7-footer found Saturday and an 8-footer discovered Monday on Sugarloaf Key about 12 miles east of Key West, were shot between the eyes, authorities said. A small caliber bullet was found lodged in one crocodile's head. The other also appeared to have a bullet wound between the eyes. Both animals will be examined for a cause of death. While the crocodile is protected under the Endangered Species Act, it has been slowly reclaiming its range up the Atlantic and Gulf coasts from a last stronghold in northeastern Florida Bay. The numbers have climbed to nearly 1,000 from a low point in the 1970s of fewer than 300, prompting the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service last year to propose upgrading its status to threatened. They are found nowhere else in the country. Crocodiles are protected under both state and federal law. Killing a crocodile is a third-degree felony in Florida, punishable by up to five years in prison. The two dead crocodiles were 7-year residents of a pond in an affluent rural neighborhood, said Officer Gordon Sharp of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The animals were discovered about three miles apart several miles away from the pond. "This killing in my opinion is a result of public concern for the safety of their kids and pets," Sharp said, adding that he has responded to numerous complaints about the animals from residents in the area. There have been no documented attacks by American crocodiles on human beings in the United States. Such indiscriminate killings of crocodiles are extremely rare, said commission spokeswoman Dani Moschella in West Palm Beach. "They were well-fed, healthy crocodiles living in a pond that was rich in bird life so they had plenty of prey," she said. Moschella would not say whether authorities had suspects, citing the ongoing investigation. She said officers could only recall one other such incident in recent memory, when a man was arrested in December for dragging a well-known crocodile nicknamed "Charlie" to its death behind a Hummer. Authorities have issued warrants for four others in that incident in Key Largo near the Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge, about 60 miles south of Miami. Quote What kind of ignorant assholes are these people? I think they need a bullet between the eyes (just like what they did to an animal that had the right to live free), as they are a threat to our environment, and a detriment to the human gene pool
  13. Iran Threatens U.S. With 'Harm and Pain' By GEORGE JAHN, Associated Press Writer 2 hours ago VIENNA, Austria - Iran threatened the United States with "harm and pain" Wednesday for its role in hauling Tehran before the U.N. Security Council over its nuclear program. But the United States and its European allies said Iran's nuclear intransigence left the world no choice but to ask for Security Council action. The council could impose economic and political sanctions on Iran. The statements were delivered to the 35-member board of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which is meeting to focus on Tehran's refusal to freeze uranium enrichment. The meeting is in effect the last step before the Security Council begins considering Iran's nuclear activities and international fears they could be misused to make weapons. It began with both Iran and nations which oppose its enrichment plans sticking to their positions, reflecting the deadlock that prompted the IAEA board to seek Security Council intervention. "The United States has the power to cause harm and pain," said a statement delivered by the Iranian delegation. "But the United States is also susceptible to harm and pain. So if that is the path that the U.S. wishes to choose, let the ball roll." The statement did not elaborate on what Iran meant by "harm and pain," and Iranian officials were not immediately available to comment. But diplomats accredited to the meeting and in contact with the Iranians said the statement could be a veiled threat to use oil as an economic weapon. Iran is the second-largest producer within the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, and a boycott could target Europe, China or India. The republic also could cause difficulties in southern Iraq. On Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld accused Tehran of dispatching elements of its Revolutionary Guard to stir trouble inside Iraq. Iran's statement was unusually harsh, reflecting Tehran's frustration at failing to deflect the threat of Security Council action against it in the coming weeks. Tehran maintains its nuclear program is for generating electricity. "Our nation has made its decision to fully use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and all have to give in to this decision made by the Iranian nation," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Iran. "We have made our choice." Iran also attacked "warmongers in Washington" for what it said was an unjust accusation that Tehran's nuclear intentions were mainly for military use. It also suggested America was vulnerable, despite its strength. "Surely we are not naive about the United States' ... intention to flex muscles," the statement said. "But we also see the bone fractures underneath." It also threatened broader retaliation, without being specific, saying Iran "will adapt our policy and adjust our approach to conform with the new exigencies." Earlier, U.S. delegate Gregory Schulte insisted in comments to the board that "the time has now come for the Security Council to act." He ticked off Iran's decision to curtail agency inspections, its expanding uranium enrichment program and worrying conclusions by IAEA inspectors that suggest at least past interest in nuclear arms as contributing to "mounting international concerns" about Tehran's nuclear intentions. "Iran has still not come clean," he said. Schulte listed Tehran's possession of plans that could only be used to make nuclear warheads, links between its nuclear programs and the military, and its determination to develop a large-scale enrichment program that could be misused to make nuclear arms. "IAEA inspectors have no doubt this information was expressly intended for the fabrication of nuclear weapons components," Schulte said of documents showing how to form fissile material into warheads. Separately, France, Germany and Britain, which spearheaded the Feb. 4 IAEA resolution clearing the path for Security Council action, warned that what is known about Iran's enrichment program could represent only "the tip of the iceberg." It also spoke of "indicators of a possible military dimension to Iran's (nuclear) program" as "a legitimate source of intense concern." "We believe that the time has ... come for the U.N. Security Council to reinforce the authority" of the IAEA and its board, the European statement said. Ahmadinejad's comments _ and U.S. and Russian statements the day before rejecting any compromise allowing Tehran to enrich uranium domestically _ set the stage for Security Council action once the IAEA board meeting hears about the latest investigations into Iran's nuclear program and debates the issue. Russia and China, which have Security Council vetoes, may use them to foil any resolution in that chamber that would meaningfully increase pressure on Iran, their political and economic ally. Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing appealed Tuesday for more negotiations and suggested Security Council involvement was not needed. The Chinese and Russian statements to the board were relatively moderate, said delegates inside the closed meeting. China urged "more time for diplomacy" before any Security Council action, one delegate said on condition of anonymity, quoting from the Chinese statement.Quote Does anyone still want them to have nuclear weapons?
  14. Thanks and those are both valid points...at least in my opinion...which means nothing
  15. Damn I sure expected a bigger reponse from those who can't stand me...or even hate my guts all those views and only 12 posts? and very few votes in fact for the ones who voted drop dead ....don't worry someday your wishes will come true...hopefully when I am old and before I become a burden on society
  16. I appreciate your candor. I think we should encourage more below average people to express themselves. I suppose when the career options are the military or Burger King, the former is probably the best choice. Jen your opinion is supported by all those who wish our country had no military, and does not think that the US would ever be attacked and enslaved by other predatory nations or religous sects. As for all the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen you just insulted thanks!!! If you hate us so much why not go protest or leave? Join the Rev. and his band of Haters P.S. believing you are superior to military personel in your intellect, shows only your lack of intellect.
  17. Chipping an animal is a great idea it stops theft, also stops lost animals from never finding their owners, and stops those damn nasty motherfuckers who steal animals then sell them to be used as test subjest...it's as if they run a canine Auchwitz!!! I want to kill every time I see that shit... There was a program on HBO about just that a class B dealer who was a Preacher at a church and a horrible person who tortured and killed dogs like they were vermin.... all he lost was his license and his land...SO FUCKING WHAT? he needed to have that rifle put to his head the same way he did to the dogs he hurt so badly. I also am in favor of recording a pets DNA, just in case they remove the chip... some of these class B dealers and the thiees who supply them with stolen dogs have purchased scanners, and are removing chips.
  18. I understand that completely... I however would not take it out on any administration, nor protest, I would simply engage in all out warfare against those who actually killed my child, or even a friend. I have a daughter(my gf's child) but I treat her as if she were my own, and I don't want anything to happen to her. She was raised to believe everything in life is nice and sweet, however now that she is growing up that needs to be tempered with reality. I do think that Ms. Sheehan does not tell the truth and is a puppet of her political handlers though.
