Motorcyclist Clocked at 155 Mph Jailed
warpedskydiver replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
It is a surroundings thing. If you are on a flat road with nothing around you it wont happen. But when you have trees and bushes on the side of the road they become a blur. Like a green line. But I only felt that above 160. Never as low as the 120s. Hi Darius, keep in mind that some people have very poor peripheral vision...maybe motorcyles aren't for them. -

Well, it is if it causes your guy to lose. here I will translate for you . some still believe the election was stolen, even if the outcome was legal they don't like the way it was done...legally in a court of law...geez couldn't they just have had a duel?

Motorcyclist Clocked at 155 Mph Jailed

Motorcyclist Clocked at 155 Mph Jailed By Associated Press LIVINGSTON, La. - A motorcyclist has been given a couple of days to think about the record he set _ at least in the minds of state troopers. Brian Samuel Willis, 20, was clocked zooming down Interstate 12 on Sunday at 155 miles per hour _ more than two times the speed limit 70, state police said. "That may be the fastest of all-time in the state," said Trooper Ryan Riley of Troop A. "I can't confirm it, but I don't think anyone has ever gotten anybody at 155. The fastest I know of is like 144." Riley said he was traveling westbound about 6 p.m. when he got the motorcycle in his radar. Maneuvering his vehicle to the other side of the interstate, Riley tried to follow Willis, but the black Yamaha R6 ducked off the roadway onto state highway 441 and traveled south to state highway 42, Riley said. At that point, Livingston Parish sheriff's deputies and Springfield police chased Willis back toward Riley, who made the arrest, he said. "He pulled over once he saw all of us, without incident," Riley said. "He just said he didn't think he was going that fast and he didn't know we were behind him. He thought he was only doing 120 or 130." Willis motorcycle was impounded and he was booked for reckless operation of a vehicle, flight from an officer and speeding, Riley said. "The judge refused to set the bond until Tuesday," Riley said. "I think she is going to let him spend a few days in jail."Quote Gee I sure am glad I have never gone that fast or faster...cough -

Last time I checked (and admittedly it's been a while) very few religions give to governments the responsibility for choosing who goes to hell. yeah instead we will let Narci decide, I think I know where he will send me! note to self: buy lots of SPF 1 million suncreen and Nomex underwear -
Mayor Daley and his handpuppet, Blowjobabitch would have had them fired for upholding the law. Actually it could have been done then round them all up in Soldiers Field and then deported. Then it would be reported as a human rights violation even if they were fed, sheltered, and given new pink jammies.

Birthday Girl Shot Dead in Chicago
warpedskydiver replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Probably because it isn't worth the trouble to prosecute those lesser crimes when the murder charge will already suffice to put him away for life, like he deserves. It's just a matter of judicial efficiency. No he will most likely serve 20 yrs for this...here in Illinoisitan we have convicted murderers serving far less than life sentences and usually these are racially biased. Plus there is someone else possibly who committed a Federal Offense of tranferring a Firearm to a FELON that is a person that NEEDS TO BE PROSECUTED -
Deserters can still be shot THEY ARE NOT DRAFT DODGERS

Birthday Girl Shot Dead in Chicago

Birthday Girl Shot Dead in Chicago By Associated Press CHICAGO - Stray gunfire pierced a window and killed a 10-year-old girl during her birthday party, the second time in as many weeks that a child has been shot to death in their South Side neighborhood. Siretha White was in her aunt's first-floor apartment in Englewood, celebrating her birthday with cousins, when the bullet was fired from a white Cadillac, police said. She would have turned 11 on Monday. "The bullet came straight through the window," said her uncle, Dwight Stevenson. "It's a shame that people are shooting at houses. We lost an angel, another angel." A witness identified the gunman, leading police to another Englewood house, the Chicago Tribune reported Monday. A raid led to the arrests of several men. Siretha was shot just blocks from the home where 14-year-old honor student Starkesia Reed was killed March 3 when a stray bullet from an assault rifle went through the window of her family's house. Carail Weeks, 24 was charged with first-degree murder in the case. "This ain't right," Siretha's mother, Siretha Woods, told the Tribune. "This has got to stop."Quote I see chicago's antigun laws have failed AGAIN to save another child I want to really know why there aren't charges of illegal firearms possession arent filed, and also why no federal charges were filed for felons possessing firearms illegally. Where did they steal these weapons, or who bought them legally with intent to transfer illegally(straw buyers)? PROSECUTE THE LAW -

Rapper Young Jeezy Arrested in So. Florida By Associated Press Mon Mar 13, 0:00 AM MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Young Jeezy was arrested after an alleged shootout in South Beach involving some of his friends, police said. The 28-year-old rapper, born Jay Jenkins, was charged early Saturday with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, police said. Jenkins was with a group of men involved in a fight around 5:30 a.m. Friday, according to a police report. When a passer-by filming the fight refused to hand over his video camera, one of the men in the group began shooting, the report stated. Jenkins and about nine men fled the scene in two sport utility vehicles, police spokesman Robert Hernandez told The Miami Herald. Officers stopped both vehicles, and found a semiautomatic firearm under Jenkins' seat and another gun near the armrest when they searched his SUV. Two members of Jenkins' group also were arrested. Tramiel De Juan Golden was charged with strong armed robbery, and Steven Lesly Savain of Kendall was taken into custody on trespassing charges stemming from previous warrant for his arrest. Young Jeezy's album "Let's Get It" was released in July. Quote Looks like he will be "Gettin it" soon in prison -
North Korea: U.S. Is Preparing Invasion

North Korea: U.S. Is Preparing Invasion By JAE-SOON CHANG, Associated Press Writer Sun Mar 12, 10:15 AM SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea accused the United States on Sunday of stepping up preparations to attack and said that justified the communist state's nuclear weapons program. North Korea's Minju Joson newspaper cited planned drills with South Korea and other U.S. military activity in the Asia-Pacific region as evidence Washington was preparing to invade. A day earlier, the North put off Cabinet-level talks with the South to protest the joint military exercises. The weeklong exercises later this month will involve 20,000 American troops and an undisclosed number of South Korean soldiers. The United States and South Korea characterize them as purely defensive. "The U.S. strengthening military moves on and around the Korean Peninsula is nothing but a premeditated maneuver to realize its hostile policy aimed at militarily stifling our republic," the North Korean newspaper said in a commentary carried by the official Korean Central News Agency. "Under the current tense situation, the nuclear deterrent force of our republic effectively contributes to guaranteeing peace and safety of our republic ... (We) will make every effort to solidify our self-defense force." North Korea claims it has atomic weapons and usually refers to its nuclear arsenal as a "nuclear deterrent force." That claim has not been verified independently. Meanwhile, a South Korean official said Sunday that North Korea may join an international anti-money laundering organization to prove its commitment to fighting financial crimes after being accused of counterfeiting and other misdeeds by the United States. North Korean officials expressed their intention to join an unspecified group at a meeting in New York last week on U.S. financial restrictions imposed on Pyongyang for alleged counterfeiting and money laundering, the official said on condition of anonymity, citing the sensitive nature of the subject. North Korea has said it will not return to six-nation talks on its nuclear program unless Washington lifts restrictions placed on a Macau bank and several North Korean companies. The United States has urged the North to come back to the negotiating table without conditions. The talks include both Koreas, the United States, China, Japan and Russia. The communist state has long claimed the United States is bent on invading the country, condemning annual joint military exercises with South Korean troops as a "rehearsal" for an attack. The two Koreas had planned to discuss exchange projects in a meeting this month that is part of the highest-level regular dialogue between the two sides. The two sides are still technically in a state of conflict because the 1950-53 Korean War ended in a truce, not a peace treaty. Relations warmed significantly after an inter-Korean summit in 2000. Quote They wish...we don't want North Korea and if we did want to stop them we don't need to invade to do so -
