Salinity is the major driving force of the worlds deep underwater currents. But then again the Naval Institute may not know as much about that as the alarmists and Al Gore. As the heavily salinated water reaches the fjords it then dives deep to create a sub surface deep water conveyor belt. That same current circles the globe and it has been measured using isotopes to track it.

Those were shown as well, what site I read the book. In my experience the shade is where the temperatures are supposed to be taken. But what do I know, we only lived in the same building as the Meteorological section.

I don't think we are the cause, yes we pollute but so do other things like fires and volcano's There is a huge thing that makes our eyes hurt when we look at it, no not the dixie cream chicks, the SUN. The fluctuation on the sun could be quite minute and affect our temperatures, other causes do as well. Salinity and energy of the worlds ocean currents are another example.

If you don't want to answer that's ok. We can all just assume you don't want to tell us that you have not been arrested or convicted of any crime. Since you are an Illinois resident it would be very easy to find out if you have been arrested or convicted.

The problem is that You want to decide who the "Nutters" are and not some legal adjudication with testimony, rights and legal representation. You are asking that rights be abridged or taken away. To you someone may be a nutter because of the way they act is different than you. You may think someone is a nutter because you had your ass kicked by them in the fourth grade. Do you mean you want a test to determine whether someone can own a firearm? Would you like to submit to a test for any other right you have?

Transference once again. I was pointing out that these prisoners have been treated better than most american citizens who are jailed. Try being jailed in Turkey or Egypt and tell us how lovely it is. Heck try even France, after all they are the home of human rights. (according to Jaques Shiraq)

You couldn't possibly be saying that if our troops are captured on the battle field that they lucky not to be executed, are you? - wow. You are damned right I am, they frequently are executed. They always have been and probably always will be. We are one of the few countries that does not execute the captured. There are others but that number would be less than 20.

Case by case basis. Nobody here is privy to the information that was gathered on each of these prisoners. There are two sides to every story. I am friends with someone who is in fact running for Cook County Sheriff and right now runs an area where the most violent offenders are detained. I am not of the opinion that they should be tortured nor should they be coddled or allowed to commit any more crimes while jailed. Upon a lawful conviction they should serve the sentence. If captured on a battlefield they are just lucky not to be executed.
