A deep concern for avoiding hypocrisy regarding weapons proliferation is not generally considered a valid technique for national defense. If you find yourself in a fair fight, you didn't plan your mission properly. - David Hackworth Words of great wisdom to keep alive by.

The minute you can show me how I personally can directly kill people with my words . . . sure. Go for it. Give it a shot. Show me. Show me how I can lay in wait for a cop to come to my door and kill him by talking. You're grasping at straws. Ok, so you have no problem with restricting rights that YOU don't agree with...gotcha. I'll make sure to remind you later. No. I'm fine restricting any rights you can find that can be used by people laying in wait to kill cops. Again, go for it. Show me one. Nice that you finally confessed that you are against the ownership of guns and would like the Second Amendment of the Constitution repealed. I guess in many respects you are much like the Jews in the ghettos who said "Well at least they did not come after us." When someone chooses to repeal any of your rights I am sure you would not want anyone's help in resisting that effort. By the way you can kill with words. Since you will probably act daft and overlook the obvious I will spell it out slowly for you. YOU CAN KILL BY SHOUTING AT A PERSON WITH A HEART CONDITION. You can kill by inciting a person or a crowd into violence. You can kill by yelling fire in a theater or other venue. You can kill by yelling "Hey that guy has a bomb" in front of a bunch of cops who are on edge, as you point at some poor SOB. You can kill by encouraging someone to do something they are not capable of.

I believe it is my responsibility to teach my children how to use firearms for the same reasons I believe it is my responsibility to teach them how to drive, to teach them about safe sex, and to teach them many other things. They will live in a world where there are various things that they can use as tools, but which might injure them if mis-used. I want them to know how to use those things properly, to minimize the chance they will be hurt. Parenting isn't all about what's "more fun." Some of it is about teaching things that your children ought to know to live happier, safer, more productive lives. Yep. If you consider safe driving beeing on same level as safe handling of a weapon, teaching safer sex - it should be OK for you. I taught my kids how to use tools, f. e. a knife, properly. At a dinner table, and not to kill someone. If for you a weapon has same value like a car or a table knife, so be it. I do no need to understand. Just a look into the future: How will you teach your kid(s) to travel into countries w/o weapons? How will they be able to manage such a *danger*? What will be your explanation if they ask you? ("Dad, France will not allow me to enter with my .44, how to survive in the streets of Paris ...?" Haha, a joke. You know, outside the US it's quite hard to carry any weapons around. You'll have to keep your little ones inside your borders. There's a danger: They might find out there's a life without a permanent threat!! Without a permanent standby of beeing attacked. Oh man. I should've addressed that novel to another gun-lover on board, dear JR ... I taught my daughter how to use a knife or anything else at her disposal to kill someone, anything that will save her life is OK with me. I guess you are worried about violence more so than the ability to prevent violence upon you and your family. If you or your kids are threatened with death or abducted will you just sit there and be nice? Hold still while they cut you into pieces or rape your kids?

If you never offer a solution then you should not complain about the solution of others. Put up or shut up.

In the sixth grade i was trusted by my principal to come to school with my shotgun so I could hunt after school without having to walk so far. I just left it and the ammunition in his office closet until after school. Sometimes the police would offer me a ride home after hunting if my sack of rabbits and pheasant was too heavy. Most people honked and waved as I walked down the shoulder of the road as I carried my shotgun in it's case.

I will not ever propose to remove any of our Constitutionally guaranteed rights. Anyone who proposes to do so and then insists they are concerned about rights is a liar and even worse, a subversive to our own constitution. A little here, a little there and pretty soon we look like other nations were you may get privileges but no rights. If the laws of other nations are so terrific why do millions of people still wish they can come here to live? Some of our finest citizens are some of our most recent as well, for they understand what it is that they have and do not take it for granted. This is not directed at you Jamille.

Shes as ugly as a bug eyed dog.

The anti-gun sociopaths are just too busy biting the pillow to bother looking at the TV screen. All they hear is the words 90% and they are full of overwhelming confidence they are right.

If someone wipes their ass with a piece of toilet paper and then shows it to you, is that peer reviewed? If they did it a thousand times and sent it to you, is that a journal?

I would tell them to ask my dog for his papers. Then I would hurry up and get a tarp and a shovel. -
Indeed. Your father was also a hero in my eyes.

Mexico We'll have to wait until ATF does their Number check to find out it's origion and $$$ trail. That can't be possible, Obama says that the guns in Mexico come from the USA, even the belt fed ones. So apparently people go into a sporting goods store is the US and walk out with machine guns, then they drive into Mexico and sell them, then people smuggle these machine guns into the USA and sell them to criminals. Wow...

Then there was no way he could have purchased that weapon legally, and furthermore at the cost of a fully automatic class III rifle that it would have cost more than $10k. So where did he get this REAL AK47 that was fully automatic? We will never hear the truth about that.

Maybe if he wishes hard enough and clicks his heels together, his dream of Bush actually been the one who destroyed the WTC will come true

I cannot recall if I may or may not have met any of the aforementioned people if they may or may not have existed.

A candle light vigil is completely worthless and quite honestly nothing but lip service. What needs to be done is that community needs to take their city back from the criminals that roam t6he streets. That would be the proper way to honor the fallen. Attack the courts for letting the guy out repeatedly, if it were not for them all five of those people would be alive.

There was some stuff like this that happened in Chicago in the downtown area. Skyscrapers are now built on what used to be railroad land. The entire premise of the railroad is that it was deeded to them for the purpose of the railroad. The problem was is that it was not being used in that capacity. Breach of contract nullified it.

I would have to examine it to determine if was really an AK-47, if it was the guy probably got it from someone who smuggled it in from Mexico. Unless he got it as a MAC-90 or similar and illegally converted it. Anyway you look at it he illegally possessed it. All sorts of laws were broken before he broke the law against murder.

You really to try a Savage as well. Great things happened, they got better triggers and as for the rest of the rifle they are superb. It would not take much to turn one into a phenomenal rifle. BTW one certain Company makes the base for the scope on that rifle, it has a name that is an animal! The newer FN rifles are really nice as well.

While I have some level of distrust for the legal system, those officers were still four people that were someones son, husband, father... they died trying to uphold a law. Name calling and insults of the dead is .... tacky. Exactly. SWAT guys don't run in like rambo, they were ordered in...and went.
