Yeah but it was an extreme case, he fixed his metal mags and forged on. Belly flopped onto a rock his ready mags were protected but the others were not, so it was more a function of the ready mag. If it can be broken it will at the worst time The guy managed to break a MK48 Mod0 But there was some shit going on. I use generation 3 stackable ready mags and they work great and really protect the magazines. ITW makes them Here are the Pmags in ready mags http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o42/warped60120/JB_28SEP_RANGE3.jpg and yes that is a WCI brake on that rifle.

Metal Mag lips are easily readjusted. Broken plastic ones cannot be fixed.

Original Colt steel worked very well, if you do not beat up the feed lips, black follower or the green ones. Pmags are ok, can be ruined easily. I liked the Orlites they were cheap and the feed lips did not bend. I have quite a few Colt Aluminum, if you do not drop then on the lips, no problems. All have green followers. I have some AA mags for 6.5 Grendel, they are actually C Products with either Marlube or Teflon. They work well as long as the feed lips are in correct geometry. The best magazine that I ever used as far as reliability were Steel 20 round FN/FAL mags, they are more trouble free than any magazine around. All this revolves around one thing, always test mags for reliability in every condition you can encounter, and make sure you do it before you really need them. There are mags good enough for the range, mags good enough for hunting, and mags good enough to save your life. They are not always the same ones.

Is divot going to be in the next episode of True Blood?

All of it. I just passed 3 math courses simultaneously and received straight A's I lost all my previous college credits due to time and have to do every bit over again in order to graduate. It was slow in the start but after two weeks I was fine. I even finished early. I feel like I am surrounded by idiots because many of the students act as if everything is new to them.

I thought you were going to ask why they call you a "right honorable cunt" Asking questions such as you have will get you labeled as a tosser! BTW I will be out there soon so keep your Donny Osmond like eyes and hands off my Daughter! Other than that just hope that someday you stop looking like a teenager. -
There is a lesson in this for those of us here in the USA. Freedom is sometimes paid for in the blood of the most loyal patriots. If we have a rifle, and learn to use it well we are then no longer a subject, we become citizens. This is why we should never ban or outlaw firearms. For those of you who say this could not happen here, you are unfortunately DEAD wrong.

It is not fiction Bill a woman did that in her own church. She did stop someone bent on killing as many as possible with the use of her own concealed gun.
-
Hey Bill, please tell all of us what it is like to be shot at. I am all ears. Then you can tell us how you can approach with a steak knife, a shrimp fork, or a plate of quiche.

Probably the fastest knife to draw and open is a Spyderco. Other knives need to be either dug out of a pocket or sheath, many have the clip on it. Spyderco knives have a clip that can be reversed depending on how you carry it or which hand you use. As soon as you can detach it from the top of your pants pocket it is open, the thumb hole is probably the fastest opening mechanism, it is ergonomically correct and works with gloves on.

not just Pilots! Bob Holler was a Bad Ass! Anyone who ever knew of him mourned his loss. I never met him, but I know someone that Bob came for when he was needed. Now the guy is just over 50yrs old a a minor gimp. If they ever erect a statue to memorialize him, I have two bowling balls I will donate for it's construction.

We start them as soon as medically stable. The sooner the better to prevent 1) Loss of muscle mass (strength), 2) Promote healing (improved circulation and bone strength), 3) Improve mental status (who likes to be cooped up between 4 walls for hours on end? . . . without end), and 4) Prevent horrid things like pneumonia and bed sores. And yes, the initials P.T. don't just stand for Physical Therapy . . . they really stand for "Pain and Torture". ltdiver You are not kidding, we used to have to get up and make our own beds @ 04:30 back in 1983 Back then it was like medieval torture. Oh and they did not want to use too much pain meds because it "could be habit forming" I think the patients bill of rights was the best thing ever.

It all depends on whom is designating whom as a terrorist. A guy caught on a battlefield in a foreign country? A guy who has ties and financial support from an organization such as Al Qaeda? Someone who has a a hundred firearms and tens or hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition? Some poor Veteran who speaks his mind? A little old lady whose husband was a Korean war Veteran and left a few goodies in the basement when he died?

Kill it and Grill it! Gator tail is tasty! Key lime garlic and black pepper with Extra Virgin Olive oil make a great marinade for skewers full of tasty meat! Cook them over a hardwood charcoal grill Or catch it, with a loop and noose, tape its mouth shut, wrap it in wet towels and take it to the nearest wildlife area.

Don't Wind Up On The Business End Of This Gun
warpedskydiver replied to rwieder's topic in Speakers Corner
I just don't think it is a good idea to discuss how to blow away something our guys are riding in. Maybe it is just me that thinks this way.
