U.S. Senate Votes Formal Apology for Slavery

Here here. And I was also wondering, 360,000 Union soldiers killed and 275,000 wounded - is that meaningless? I and many others who have studied this data actually believe the number was quite higher. That is the data on the KNOWN KIAs and WIAs. There were many who fought without documentation on both sides. Some were never accounted for as they just never came back or their own family was dead so nobody noticed. -
Iran: Kissinger & Lugar on the US response
warpedskydiver replied to nerdgirl's topic in Speakers Corner
I think I might go as far as sending in SGS teams of Iranian decent to help out. Just have to wash some passports and documents. -
Why would you ever think laughing is appropriate? Do you want people to think you are a waste of skin?

A few years back Mayor Daley passed a law that made it illegal for more than two people to gather on the public streets. He lost the ensuing lawsuit and now has a law that says you must have a permit to protest, unless of course you are a million illegal aliens.

Gimpy Girl/Guy Ground Party at American Boogie
warpedskydiver replied to k-dubjumps's topic in The Bonfire
Sacramento (SMF), but I could pick you up in San Jose (SJC) too or Monterey (MRY). I live in Monterey, but will drive through San Jose on the way. The Sac airport is only 15 miles from Davis. I lived in Monterey, it is very nice and makes Southern CA look like brown turd. -

I wish I could go, I certainly qualify, currently I walk like rain man. Torn Achilles and MCL on the same leg. The bad leg is even worse but stable. -
Just about every quality folder has a clip. I carried a Spyderco for a decade before I finally broke down and bought an Emerson CQC7-Wave. That knife is faster then a switch blade (I carried one of those for a couple of years, a Benchmade auto). Whats ironic is that people are worried about assisted opening knives, when I carry a Ka-Bar TDI LDK that can easily be hidden anywhere. Like a Hideaway knife. https://www.kabar.com/product_detail.jsp?productNumber=1478BP&mode=category&categoryId=1,7,9&categoryName=Law%20Enforcement Seems like that could be more deadly and quicker (it is quicker). If someone is trained with a knife and with in 30ft of you, how they get it open is less of a concern of what they do with it once its out/open. A Katana is a real bitch if you get close enough. Just the shock that sets in is intense if the intended vistim has not drawn and aimed already. If they are within 30 feet and have been able to conceal it from view the results would be horrific. I have a friend who is a sword fighter and also a GMC SEAL if he had that weapon on him without it being detected, somebody would be in a word of hurt if they were not completely prepared. I remember one occasion where he had to go through a metal detector, there were quite a few knives on him and a carbon fiber letter opener as well. My all time favorite is the 100lb Fireline Garrot, used with carbon end rings it cannot be found by a metal detector and is damned hard to find in a search, you have to strip the person naked in hopes that he doesn't have it. It will lop a head off so fast it is sick.

They had better hope knitting needles and round files as well as anything else pointy is outlawed.

DSA makes an FAL in .243win and I think .260rem correction the .260 was a one off. You get the FAL and a .260 bll and install it yourself, no other changes need to be made. Hone the trigger, get a good scope mount an optic that is no more than 2.5x at the lowest setting and no more than 10x at it's highest. Remove 1.5 turns from the trigger return spring. Use a WCI brake.

Overgassed, over massed and undersprung. Hear me now, believe me later. You can get accurate, or reliable but not both. Don't expect a really accurate one to last. Don't expect a reliable one to be less than 1moa. If you want a reliable .308 semi auto get an FAL and work on it. Parts are semi cheap and so are magazines. An M14 takes a lot of work to be really accurate, they are fairly reliable and not bad at all. You can get a national match for around $1400 Mags are expensive as all hell. HK's are expensive to own and maintain. You can get sub moa with the right ammo.

Nerf head gear to stop Brits and Scots from using their "heed" as a weapon. No more noddings!

Then they will introduce medications into the water supply that cause impotence in order to reduce or eliminate rapes. No tool like a soft tool eh?

There are easy ways to reconfigure the lips to fix them for flawless function serrated pliers are not the right tool. Long nose pliers or a steel arbor shaped in the right geometry are the right tool. The long nose pliers are to bend them up, the arbor is to insert and beat the lips down to with a lead or rubber mallet.

They were in a pouch that doubles as a drop pouch/dump bag when it is emptied. The ones in readymags were protected, he never uses the dustcovers. I have a bunch for the colt as well but they just get in my way.
