The US Government Can't Get Anything Right!
warpedskydiver replied to mpohl's topic in Speakers Corner
Awesome. I'm good enough for government work! Tell me, as an engineer, how you think the governments have done with maintenance of roads and bridges. It seems that maintenance of these things is a lesser priority than other matters. Maintaining a bridges is that "government is doing something" that doesn't look important and doesn't get votes. The infrastructure is rapidly deteriorating. But it sure is no fun to put money to maintenance of it when you can you can buy votes with handouts. I was not aware that he is an Illinois licensed PE. It would not take but a few minutes to find out. https://www.idfpr.com/dpr/licenselookup/default.asp https://www.idfpr.com/dpr/licenselookup/results.asp No license, yep Hmmm. -

You are forgetting something Jerry, with Blowjobabitch out of the picture certain projects are not being held for ransom. Certian posters are not going to mention that many of these projects had been slated to begin years earlier, however with "Rod the Knob" Blowjobabitch at the helm, they were held up in Pay to Play politics. -
A Historical Perspective on Obama - OUCH!
warpedskydiver replied to chuckakers's topic in Speakers Corner
OBAMACLES words were; http://budd.vox.com/library/video/6a00c2251c610d604a010981099c1f000c.html And this comment was repeated in more vehement forms with a slightly more menacing connotation at the Democratic convention and with a slightly racist tone at several fundraisers. -

What type of handgun do you have for "home defense"
warpedskydiver replied to Tuna-Salad's topic in Speakers Corner
The 9mm may penetrate more than the 10mm if we are talking about FMJ rounds. The 9mm penetrates more than the .45cal and .40S&W when it comes to FMJ It is due to SD and the propensity of a more SD round with less surface area / diameter tending to penetrate more efficiently Woks like an ice pick vs. a sharpening steel. -
Bush went to Yale, same as Kerry...where he pulled a higher GPA. Next question? And he also got a masters degree from Harvard iirc

I have no training whatsoever, but I did sleep in a holiday inn once. -
*** Yep. My circumstances don't really let me carry anything much larger. I realize there are some 9's that are about the same size, but I'm pretty fond of the little sig, and have spent a fair bit of time practicing with it, and I think that familiarity with it is going to serve me better than a larger round from a handgun I'm not as practiced with. that is probably the best .380 ever made fixed bbl on that really helps

Yes but he looks like a mini gsd -
If you carry a .380 remember that there is only 200lbs of force in that round, shot placement is very critical. For that matter a .22lr will work if you can hit what you want no matter what the circumstances are.

I have a great white shark with a laser on his head and floors that will fall away at my command. Just in case I get invaded I will piss the shark off first. -

If I have the time I will look up some of training videos put out by a friend of mine who does tactical handgun/carbine and ccl courses. Maybe he will furnish a link to some. -
PM me the model of that weapon I will tell you right away.

Kennedy earned C grades at the private Milton Academy, but was admitted to Harvard as a "legacy" -- his father and older brothers had attended there, so the younger and dimmer Kennedy's admission was virtually assured. While attending, he was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England, pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea, where a war was raging. Kennedy was assigned to Paris, never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Downloaded from http://www.nndb.com/people/623/000023554/ BTW it was extremely uncommon for any enlisted soldiers to be stationed in Paris at that time and even rarer that a private be stationed there as part of the diplomatic contingent. Of course carousing and not showing up for duty went without punishment.
-
You forgot to mention he avoided going to Korea by not showing up for duty in the Army Reserves. hmmmmm that must have slipped under the radar of the kennedy loving media.

My BIL used to fly the EF-111A and the F111G, then he switched to F16 later on. Hard to imagine it because he is such a dork. But that thing was very fast down low.

That would be relatively easy, eliminate the waste and extremely high salaries at the top. But that would be like asking a thief to watch the cash box.

Someone has to atone for you being a pikey bastard

I concur, I would not wish that sort of injury on the worst of people. I hope it is not as bad as reported and that he can make a full recovery.

Deficits nearly a trillion a yesr for the next decade
warpedskydiver replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
My Economics professor considers Keynes to have been a fool, or that the one who would follow his ideas to this extent to be fools. Investment in a society is one thing, but burying itself in the highest amount of debt that has ever been imagined by any country is another thing entirely. It is as if Obamacles lost his nest egg and is willing to go down to the casino to win it back. -
How dare you speak ill of the collective Komrade. To the gulag with you, or the PRK for you since Kalifornia might be closer to a USN installation. I shall be forced to report you to the propaganda and truth Kommisar Czar.
