    Again you are over generalizing what occurred. The atrocities were perpetuated by all sides and the fact is that religion had little to do with the fighting, it was used as a way to say "oh please help us poor ____" but in the end that was a blood bath perpetuated by greed and power. To say there was one aggressor is just plain wrong, there were groups who collaborated together and then turned on each other. The blowing of the bridge was not by accident, they wanted the fight to be ongoing and there to be no escape. Who blew up the bridge?

    Agreed, I may add that is was not easy to win the admiration or mutual respect of Vinegar Joe. He was loyal to his men, when it was not fashionable, it was even looked down upon. He led from the front, again, not fashionable or even considered smart at the time. He even patrolled with the BAR while in his late 60s, a 25lb Automatic weapon. He kept his men from being slaughtered, even when it meant starving. I was proud when I got temporary duty at Stillwell Hall. I hear it no longer stands...

    Why don't you just do us all a favor and quit being so intolerant and insisting on limiting other rights of free speech? Maybe it is because I like to see what people's reactions are without tipping my hand as to what my own personal views are. You have certainly presented yourself as quite wonderful person. Do you actually have any friends who are not angry and intolerant? I doubt it if they agree with you. You have impressed me as someone not many people would like. You also state that 90% of my posts are about conspiracy theories, you could not be more wrong about that, you just told everyone who ignorant you really are of fact and understanding others points of view.
