    Held PROPERLY the object causing pain is only extended a mere 1/4" out into the lower portion of the ear. Then when twisted downward while prying up on the ear they would rather eat shot than experience any more. YMMV and people always can fuck up. I have never used this technique on anyone.

    It can be done with pressure applied inside of the ear. A ballpoint pen or similar dull object is all that is needed. The pain is so excruciating that they will comply. No permanent damage is done as well.

    I hope you get to experience a SWAT ride along. It is great to see what they do and even better if you can help assess any shortcomings. They are some of the most professional and appreciative officers you will ever meet. One of them was noted as saying "Damn, I appreciate that, I want to live and see my family again" Very grateful and humble. If you see one of them that is arrogant, it is the same as any SOCOM guy being arrogant, they are an INDIVIDUAL and a LIABILITY.

    Case by case basis, were thay acting within their legal authority? What were the circumstances? Was it an accidental killing? Was it an actual murder? There are many questions to this and they all need to be answered before there is a grand jury Also are the Iraqis and Insurgents also going to be tried for their crimes?

    I will ask my friends wife, she was born in Jordan. Also a very good cook. These were store bought ones, but very good. She makes awesome stuffed eggplant and Catfish with this sauce on it. Then there is the saffron rice and roast lamb... I am jealous of the way she is able to serve such nice looking food. I can cook pretty well, sometimes better than I think. But the presentations area is not one of my strong points.

    You are referring to corn, however we cannot be sustained by corn alone. There are many other variables involved. My FIL is a cornell graduate of horticulture and has great insight on this, we have debated this and come to the conclusion that there would be far more agriculture involved in order to sustain a full vegan diet. I agree with the data but take that with a grain of salt when you consider all the types of crops that would need to be grown in order to replace animal proteins and fat, not to mention all the other trace elements we get from eating animal products. Factual data is one thing, but not representing it as whether it is calculated on order to replace meats and animal products is another.

    Agreed, many people however take liberty with Ghandi's statements. He was a man of action even if that action was not violent, or intended to be. He knew they could not win through Violence, but instead chose asymmetric warfare as his tool of choice. IIRC, Sun Tzu said when you are hard appear to be soft, when you are strong in numbers appear to be few. Ghandi chose to appear like silk when in fact he was like a rock.

    No, it's not, from the point of view of how much crop to grow to get the same number of calories. It takes a lot more than calories' worth of corn and grass to get a 500-calories steak. So if you're using people's consumption as your end rationale, it's by no means a wash. Wendy P. If we all ate nothing but vegetables and fruit much more land would need to be used for agriculture. We cannot survive on hay and corn for long.

That was an over-simplification on my part. Vengeance is one possible end of the sprectrum of retributive justice not an equivocation. /Marg You must have overlooked my Ghandi statement. The Mahatma was not keen on ducking his responsibility. If he would have done something like that he would have had the conviction and moral fortitude to take his just punishment.

    Seems like that runway was long enough. However he said the flight continued to the horizon. Wherever that plane was going nobody was going to be telling anyone. All i know was Okinawa was one place it stopped, another was Scotland at times. Wherever it landed was always pretty much out of sight and during darkness.
