1969 was the Hell's Angels, they are 1%ers. They're called 1%ers for a reason. Think about it. But if you want ot use that as a gauge of the other 99%, knock yourself out....you death junkie, drug using, hard partying, bank robbing skydiver.

So, it's laughable for us to make personal judgments about this issue, but ok for you to judge all of us and tall us what "the only thing that can be debated here" is. Were you being deliberately and dryly sarcastic (I've recently learned that's known as British Humor). Or were you seriously judgng all of us, for judging the morality of a government that is judging people and then taking their life. You're right, no one should ever question the reasons for state sponsored execution. It is always right, because the state sponsored it.

I was banned twice. Both times I donated at least a jump ticket.

How's this for legal means. From the links in my first post. Note the signature: And this is a snippet from the ride report one of the bikers wrote about his participation. For a group of skydivers, not always seen in the best light by whuffos, I'd expect a little less stereotyping of a group of common hobbyists donating their time to help ease the grief of strangers.

Wow, what a bunch of ignorant bigotted responses. The bikers doing this are groups such as Christian Bikers, Bikers Aginst Child Abuse, and Harleys Owner Group. They're riding clubs not motorcycle gangs. And they ONLY GO IF THEY ARE INVITED BY THE FAMILY. They only use peaceful means. Jen....you can't get a restraining order against legal protests. The assholes have a legal right to do what they are doing. And so do the bikers. They stand between the family (WHO INVITE THEM) and the protestors, to block the family's view of the assholes. That's it. Did you people even follow the links and read the details? Or did you just make a bunch of assumptiong. Maybe you should actually know what you are talking about instead of making suppostions and baseless accusations.

How many of you have forgiven Osama Bin Laden?

1. To excuse for a fault or an offense; pardon. 2. To renounce anger or resentment against. -
So, you don't think there's anything wrong with doing it, yet you think it's ok for there to be a law against it. I guess I just don't get that attitude.
-
Check out the media links on their site. Newspaper articles and news video clips about it. They basically make a wall of people between the protestros and the funeral home, block the view of their signs from the families with American Flags, and they drown out the protestors with their exhaust pipes. Plus, since a group of bikers can't go many places withou attracting the attention of the police, a bunch of cops will tag along who appear to be more concerned about keeping the assholes from trespassing at funeral homes and churches, rather than screw with the peaceful, and invited bikers.

CLARIFICATION A lot of preaching about forgiveness going on. Who among you that don't have debilitating anti-social personalities has forgiven OBL? -

A lot of preaching about forgiveness going on. Who among you has forgiven OBL? I sure haven't. Some things are unforgiveable. -
really? What crimes do you have a desire to commit that you don't only because you fear punishment? Is it because you want to commit evil deeds, but are scared. Or do you think some laws are unjust?
-
This is the asshole I said I'd punch in the face if he showed up with a bullhorn at my brothers funeral. This is a group of bikers that stop them through more peaceful means (although I still advocate a punch in the face). This is the schedule of funerals the assholes plan to disrupt.

I'm in awe of the ballsey hypocrisy of the whitehouse.
ReBirth replied to ReBirth's topic in Speakers Corner
Personally, I don't have a problem with it at all. I think they should use propaganda in Iraq, that's part of a good strategy when at war. I do NOT think it's ok for the whitehouse to do it domestically, using public funds, to further their own political agendas re medicaid. Apparently the whitehouse position is exactly the opposite. They produce fake news stories to show the American people and criticize the military for paying Iraqi newspapers to run stories favorable to them. Like I said, hypocrisy. -
That's funny, when I just looked it up it says Christmas Tree... Also, if I search "Holiday Ornament" the Christmas Ornament comes up... I cannot find a page that includes what Bill posted... J That is funny, because it WAS there. I guess others noticed the hypocrisy and thought it might be a good idea to hide it from the public.

It's actually pretty flat and soft. I give is a 6.

Just because they look different from you doesn't mean they don't take their law just as seriously. Thanks for trying to paint me as a racist. I was referring to the fact that they have draconian laws and a draconian legal system. I don't think that's because of their race. I'm sure they take their legal system seriously, that doesn't make it right. You'll find I'm pretty consistent in my view that state sponsored execution is always wrong, even when done by those honkey americans.

Being deliberately crass is now called subtle humor? Maybe I "don't get it". Cleverly wording that you want to shit in someone's mouth, or making lighthearted jokes about the corpse of someone's dead friend don't strike me as subtle. Subtlely I consider that socially retarded.

Finally...I agree with you. -

It's probably a play on words. Like all the Infinity radio stations being "free FM" because they are moving to formats without live djs to avoid any poop jokes that might get them fined. -
Around here $175k would get me a parking space.

The magnitude....it's definitely at levels not seen in a long time. -
Exactly the opposite. No one is stopped from buying drugs that wants them now. So legalizing it won't make more people do more drugs. And the main cause of overdoses is the fact that the potency is inconsistent and unknown on the streets. Something easily rectified in a white market. I'm not condoning drug use at all. I'm just saying that drug laws do nothing to discourage use, and do a lot of harm. Again, imagine all the billions spent on investigating, patrolling, arresting, and incarcerating people for drugs being spent on health care and educational programs aimed at getting people off drugs. That would be much more effective. I took a friend to get a Naltrexone implant last week. It blocks opiod receptors. In other words, with this implant, you can shoot as much dope as you want and it won't do a thing. It's the main thing helping to keep her straight right now after having kicked the habit. It costs her $500/month. I'd much rather my tax money went to help people who want to get off drugs rather than incarcerate people who are exploiting the illegality of them.

Ebay. Next time you're in the market, I'd be more than happy to give you mine for free, I'll even deliver it... fresh.

Personally, I'm happier with reading what people more knowledgeable about things such as safety and training have to say rather than spreading my personal disinformation. Commenting in the fluff forums is less likely to directly injure someone.
